  1. The GSL is (now was) special. But, you do get the Jabbeke show that has some AMAZING builds. That is one I would love to get to but over 5,000 miles away.
  2. Haven't ordered from them for some time, maybe 5 years
  3. Well, best laid plans and all. Something unexpected just popped up and I will not be able to attend. ?
  4. May I suggest you look for aftermarket decals and keep them well packed. The blue decals in this kit (as well as he Fred Cady version) are too dark.
  5. I could not quite tell from the video, but it looks like the taillights are finally ribbed, If so, I can deal with the trim. It also appears that the interior still doesn't carry the Pontiac "spear" on the seats and carries the convertible "buttresses". So, those will need working as well.
  6. Some years back Tamiya did do a few 1:18 scale model car kits (recollect about 3 racers, could have been one or two more). But these faded away fairly quickly.
  7. Spot Model has been my best source of late. Although Upscale Hobbies carries some as well.
  8. Sylvania Electric logo, the 'Paint by Mike Shields'. Jerry Titus/Jon Ward Trans Am Car MCM post on it http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/139343-twin-herb-adams-71-scca-trans-am-64-tempest-gray-ghost-projects/page/5/
  9. Won't have my latest project done in time, so will be bringing these along to show
  10. Forgot to add that on my list as well. Oh, and an original Make Shark
  11. Off the top of my, these are what I perceive to be the hardest to find (or pay a reasonable price). Still yet to build any of these.
  12. 67 - Not that I can remember. Only 58.
  13. Marginal interest in the 007 version as I have the Doyusha version (as well as the stock variant). Would love to do a "detailed" stock version to go with some of my other classics.
  14. That contact page is in lieu of an email. It has been noted several times in the messages chain. I have used that contact page and not yet had a problem.
  15. Could not have said it better. And Randy carries products from him and other artists like Harold Bradford at his online store
  16. A bunch of things in the last couple of months have impeded progress on my builds. I started dinking with this about 2 years back and then put it on the shelf. The resin model is a Juha Airio design cast by Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland. I pulled it off again late last year. I’ve got the body almost totally cleaned up. Need to do some another round of primer and base white. Chassis work in progress. Adding disc brakes all around and Off the Sprue wheels adapted to some Revell big and little tires. Made a couple of mods to the interior, including some door card mods for eventual wood trim (decals from the parts box). Working on the engine as well. Detailing is about halfway done. The kit is prepped for a Big Block Chevy from the AMT 68 El Camino as well as suspension pieces. I decided to keep it that way. Color will be Testors Lacquer Inca Gold.
  17. As do I. And, I do not want to do 2K clears. Too toxic in my view
  18. I am starting to switch over to that as I use up my remaining Tamiya TS-13
  19. As far as I know, he has no gmail account, all my emails come from gravity-colors.com. This is the correct website https://gravity-colors.com/ And this is his correct contact us page https://gravity-colors.com/contact-us/
  20. Mail delivery arrived with an order of wheels from Dancing Bear and the Hyundai I20 WRC.
  21. Just got my paint orders in today, plus a couple of detail items. Thanks to Burbank House of Hobbies and Upscale Hobbies. The big part is finally getting the Zero Paint Wheel Colors which I have been after for some time.
  22. The S/C kit does have both windshield options, so you will be fine there
  23. I can use them on another project (possibly). I am building another street Cobra as the one I built some years back was damaged by a JUDGE at a model contest when he manhandled it during the judging process. Broke off the hood and one of the doors (that I cut open and hinged) and then dropped it on the table, wrecking the front suspension. I got it out of the moving box here just after Christmas and looked at repairing. Decided a lost cause and need to start over. Nice thing is that the correct street wheels are now produced and I got a set. The kit you got is actually closer to a street Cobra and was what I used back when I first built one. That would be much easier for me to build what I want than take parts from the damaged kit and merge them with an S/C. I will check my open S/C kit to be sure, but it may only have the racing windscreen, not the full windshield. If you want the full windshield for you project, you'll need to take it out of the kit you're trading. I'll let you know.
  24. Yes, I would like them back since the kit has the wheels in it. Thanks.
  25. Remind me. Which wheels are those? Cobra?
