  1. Getting close to final assembly. Got the valve stems on the wheels and they're just waiting to be glued on. Most of the engine bay add-on's are done. I ran the heater and A/C lines, fabricated a radiator, and added the hoses. Remaining are the proportioning valve and brake lines. This has been a "fun" experience, because the body/chassis/frame had to be assembled to finish off. So protecting the finish is critical. The fuel and brake lines are done and the only item left on the chassis is add the wheels. Final fitment steps will be cleanup, adding mirrors and wipers and final polish.
  2. Luckily, I have one, but the chassis needs a big improvement
  3. I did the rear seats, trunk and door panels with Evergreen half round. Done in 1999.
  4. Model Car Garage PE set has a lot of stuff, but NO side marker lights. I have 2 different 1968 AMT Camaro kits and their respective decal sets do NOT have side marker lights either. Keith Marks decal sheets MIGHT have something for sider lights, but not sure. Best to contact him at mofobow@hotmail.com A lot of work is needed to convert the interior, including adding the astro ventilation ports on the dash (if you are going to that level of detail)
  5. Quality looks pretty good. A couple PE piece for grilles and Greyhounds for the sides. From looking at a build video there a couple minor body fitment issues that'll need some work. Probably start "dinking" with it after the holidays.
  6. Thanks. Full interior and engine. Somewhat of a downside, 1/35 scale. But something out of my usual topics and interestingm
  7. It does if you're aiming for a parchment/white color, but Racing White is more towards an ivory color (which has some yellow in it).
  8. Depending on the use, either semi-gloss or flat clear will take the gloss down. I usually test out with semi-gloss first for leather/vinyl and flat for cloth. But sometimes flat is needed even for leather/vinyl because the sheen is still too great.
  9. I just went down to check my 66, and yes, that is the fitment. Not as noticeable when finished, but there are those gaps.
  10. No, I don't have plans. I have the tires also, if that helps. The wheels I used from the HD F12 Novitec N-Largo also needed larger tires. This is the wheel you are referencing, right? If so, send me a PM and let's work this out.
  11. Instructions from Scalemates https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/7/1/0/141710-80-instructions.pdf
  12. I went downstairs to the stash and pulled out the trailer. I can scan the instructions if that would help narrow your search.
  13. It is. I have one unbuilt downstairs in the stash. It has a few interior pieces but is not what I would call a race car trailer without considerable mods
  14. Definitely a must get. I have his wheels for the Ferrari 275 GTB and they are very nice and fit well.
  15. Two I'd like to see, 2024 GMC Denali 3500 Dually and a transkit for the Fujimi Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to render this
  16. Would be nice. I've still got an original unbuilt
  17. Update 11-02-2023. Got back at this one as the clearcoat process on the 57 Crew Cab Car Hauler progresses. There's a scratch in the hood that requires a touch up of color coat and then clear. I cut out the front and rear windows using thesupplied templates and acetate sheet. They glue in from the outside, so a bit finicky. Then I glued in the lamps (front/rear), interior tub and lower body piece. Getting the frame ready to attach. I will then finish off the engine compartment, do a fina polish and add the remaining finicky bits like side view mirrors. Wheels are 3D prints from Off the Sprue. Detailed them out and need to air air valves (usually do as one of the last steps). Been a fun build thus far.
  18. Yes. Was stolen and totaled by the thief. About 1.5 years after this pic. Wound up replacing with a 70 1/2 Z/28
  19. My brother. SS 396, 325 HP, 4 Speed, Bench Seat, Black on black
  20. Two weeks old from the dealership in early May 1968.
  21. I've got two Styline versions, but nothing newer than this kit
