The wheels you're showing are the Fujimi ones, not Tamiya. Tamiya wheels do not have the lug bolt feature (at least none of the one's I've had/seen) -

New Project – Revell 1969 Camaro Pace Car
Exotics_Builder replied to Exotics_Builder's topic in WIP: Model Cars
I haven't worked on it for a few months because of another project. Just painted the body and started to do first clear coat prior to doing decals. The problem is that the Revell decals (and Fred Cady decals of which I have one copy) are too orange on the stripes. Keith Marks' decals are much closer (reddish orange akin to Hugger Orange). I now have those decals and plan on getting back at it. -

Overhead view (AMT on left) Hood interchange between Moebius and AMT. AMT has a tab in the middle of the hood that appears to keep it from sliding forward, so won't lay down as well (and I am not cutting that tab off) Side View (vertical flip copy as well) AMT grill on Moebius Moebius grill on AMT (some pins are not allowing better fit)

Got the first white primer coat on the body. Needs a couple of tweaks before final primer. Then Tamiya Base White will be applied before Bob's Paint Creme Brulee. Started on the interior, taking the custom interior of the Revell 59 2n1 and merging into the AMT interior. I also cut out the door panels and will use the Revell panels as well. Still more work to go on this.

Alpha Models Ferrari GTC4Lusso - Update 8/23/2022

Got the last white primer coat on the body. Color will be Splash Paints Zeus Bronze (a Corvette Color that seems close to a photo I saw of a bronze GTC4) -
Just my Moebius 64 Chevy Nova and did a quick compare to the AMT 62. They compare well, so I can use parts from either.

1/25 Revell '69 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396
Exotics_Builder replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
It had the 68-69 "ice cube tray" inserts? Stock 67's had a different insert like the 69 Nova SS hood. I am not familiar with any Canadian differences in trim, so I ask. If Revell offers the hood so the inserts are separate, you could get the inserts from the Nova to be correct.- 91 replies

My order from Geronimoworks arrived today. One of the Center Lock wheel sets will go on a LaFerrari in the planning stage. His work is like fine jewelry. These are 1/24 scale.

While vexing on color options for the Alpha Models Ferrari GTC4Lusso, I decided to start a period custom. Looking at my options, I elected to pull the AMT 59 El Camino out of the stash and use it as the base. For those not familiar with it, this kit does have an acceptable chassis with separate suspension and exhaust. It is lacking in interior detail, including only engraved pieces on the door cards. To help the process, I also pulled out the Revell 59 Chevy Custom Hardtop. This kit will supply some custom parts to the El Camino. Wheels are from a Fujimi kit that was issued several years ago which will be applied with American Satco wide whitewalls (I still have a couple of remaining sets). Body mods started with a 3mm (about 3 scale inches) chop to the top. Not aggressive but contributes to the effect. I also scraped the standard body side molding and replaced with Evergreen half round strip shaped at the ends. I applied the custom front pan from the El Camino kit and the front “eyelet” fillers from the Revell kit. I also applied the Revell kit rear fender skirts which required a little shaping. For the pickup bed, I decided to do a diamond plate floor. A wood floor seemed out of place and carpet/upholstery would limit options on finishing. I am not totally sold on this, but it is done. The sides of the bed area had two parts which did not fit well on the kit I have. I decided to do tuck and roll sides, applying scale corrugated siding for the effect. Evergreen quarter round trim around the sides completed the effect. The chrome trim on the El Camino is very faint and I bolstered that with Evergreen angle strips of various sizes. After some cleanup, first primer round is done. Need some cleanup and final primer. Work will move on to interior mods, engine and chassis. Right now, the color choice is Tamiya Base White with Bob’s Paints Crème Brulee over it. Interior will be white and tan/cream.

I have one not yet built in the stash. They were over $120 at the time of release (circa 2006-2008) and were only out about a year or so. Not yet reissued. The kit represents a European Tour Bus, but one was modified by a modeler into a RV (there actually is a 1:1 conversion). Every once in a while, one pops up for sale but at $200 or more. Here are some instructions. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/0/1/9/106019-82-instructions.pdf
