  1. Door cards are door panels. Door cards is the designation usually used in Britain, et al. Sometimes used here. Watch Wheeler Dealers and you will hear it a lot.
  2. If it isn't, then I'm sorry. I didn't see it as I was working the indoors to do the photos of the models. I bought some of Bob's paints, but didn't see this. I guess we'll find out. Blowing up the photo does seem to imply a separate hood, but the resolution is too low to get a better idea
  3. And likewise. Bismarck is a Great Trader
  4. Dave Metzner can obviously confirm, but I was told at the GTR NNL on the 7th that these were on the boat and headed to the US. Bob's paint had the box art model on display and GTR President Joel Peters took a photo of it:
  5. The same for you. Thank you for a great trade
  6. Regardless of what you do, you like likely mar the paint in some manner if the decals adhered well. If you applied over a clear coat, you should be able to buff it out. If you have a clear coat over the decal as well, it will be a lot messier.
  7. You have the US variant. I wound up with the RoG version and know where to look at their website to get the downloads since I discarded the used instructions
  8. Interesting!?! It almost looks like some accommodation they made for mounting to the hubs and trailing links. Wonder how much is hidden when assembled?
  9. I built mine over a year ago, so no instructions. But, if you are talking the 1/24 version, it is tree A, per the Revell of Germany instructions http://www.revell.de/fileadmin/import/images/bau/07399_%23BAU_VW_T1_SAMBA_BUS.PDF
  10. Berlinetta Lusso please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Hey!! I resemble that remark
  12. Very nice!
  13. I stopped at Bridgetown in June 2013 when we were out trying to decide on where to move back to. Mike had already retired and I was told there was a new owner, but stock was diminished. Didn't look good. I think they closed about a year later. Tammie's has a web site, and they don't show Zero Paints. But you could contact them to see if they have any (which I doubt, as I believe there is only one US supplier). http://www.tammieshobbies.com/collections/paint
  14. Beaverton is just WEST of Portland.
  15. Bridgetown is long gone. Tammie's still exists. I don't think they sell Zero paints though.
  16. Oregon is a large state. For example, are they around Portland?
  17. He wouldn't open the bags even though I pled!!
  18. Model Information
  19. Price is somewhat subjective. If I want a kit bad enough and it fits my other criteria, price could be a factor. But when I look at what the military modelers wind up paying for detail plus all the aftermarket stuff they add, it SEEMS we are still better off. But, as I have been reducing my stash in a downsizing effort prior to a long distance move, I find offering anything for sale offers are all over the board. It seems better to donate to something worthwhile than go through the hassle. But I am much more selective these days as I still have about 700 unbuilt models in the stash. At my build rate, I'll need a couple hundred years to get through them.
  20. I just checked and the intercooler set does NOT have any instructions. But variations of those straps are in other PE sets
