  1. This just arrived today from Austria, done by Czech Truck Model for the Lonestar (international's HQ is 30 miles from here.
  2. Based on your photo above, the 2002 Camaro from Revell has an LS1 with the correct forward intake, but has no shrouds for the coil packs. It also has an attached transmission (which I beleive is a manual as I don't have that particular kit). The LS1 in the C5 Corvette does have the coil pack shrouds, but no attached transmission as the Corvettes come with transaxles. I would expect that Revell used a common design for all their LS engines shared across the kits just like their BB Chevy engine. Neither has the intake air tube, so you would have to craft that as well as adapt to the intake. The 2010 Camaro has a LS engine with automatic transmission but, again, no coil pack shroud like the picture. Instead it has a shrould over the manifold and coil packs which is unique to the car. This kit has an intake air tube but it snakes to the driver side rather than the passenger side and ends in an airbox. HTH. Gerry
  3. No Tom, They had a "contest" on FB that you could enter. I think it was F&F oriented.
  4. Got mine over a week ago in pristine condition
  5. Haven't opened it yet to see the instructions. At this point I am thinking similar to SMS Carbon Fiber decals, but haven't checked further.
  6. Not cheap, but high quality. Ordered December 27. Not bad time frame. http://www.uschivdr.com/
  7. That is what they told me at IHOBBY. However, May-June was the timeframe I was given because the two cars are much farther along. Time will tell.
  8. Another six inches of snow on top of the 15 we had earlier last week.
  9. If it is like the Enzo, likely less finicky to build but with less opening parts. I have my Tamiya LaFerraris en route from HLJ as the extra parts I was waiting on finally arrived.
  10. And to add to this, Revell of Germany just announced a LaFerrari in 1/24 scale
  11. No. Same engine as 49 Merc Custom
  12. Got my November 2013 issue of Model Cars Magazine (in good form).
  13. Detail Master used to do a set of resin Torque Thrusts. Don't know if they still do or what the diameter is.
  14. In the final assembly and clean up. This is the really slow part as one doesn’t want to mar the finish.
  15. Yep. The Super Glue from Gorilla Glue says it on the package and tube. They also sell a poyurethane waterproof glue that needs one side wet to set and does expand. That one is NOT good for modeling and it sounds like that is what you got. I use their super glue for assembly and it works well. The package I get has two small tubes. One tube is good for a model as it thickens over time.
  16. The LaFerrari needs to be in the stash. Will likely go right to the moving box with a lot of this stuff. The Lambo Veneno opened up, go to this link for a view plus instructions: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10243805
  17. This just came in: Still have a large order in Private Warehouse at HLJ. There is one part that is still coming and I don't want a separate shipping cost if I can avoid it.
  18. Per Revell at our club's Xmas party on the 7th, decals for the insets but not for the ribs. Gerry
  19. Got this transkit from C1 Models: Converts the Fujimi Ferrari F12 Berlinetta to a Novitec N-Largo
  20. Sorry can't help, but I think you might also be looking for the kit manufacturer? Is that a 1/72 scale (based on pen next to it)? If you have scale, Squadron hobby online catalog might lead you to possible kits.
  21. We had less than 1/2" in Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. But I was born in Palmer, MA, so can understand.
  22. Yes. They were handing out free copies at the show by the car display.
  23. Got mine last week. It is superb!
  24. The hi-res images on stored on my computer. If you want any copies I can email them.
