  1. Butterball Hotline was no help. I may just wing it. Worst case, I’m out $25 or so.
  2. An uncle did this maybe 35 years ago. It was really good, but I don’t know how many jalapeños or if they were in the turkey the entire time. Has anyone here ever heard of this? The uncle is no longer with us, so I can’t ask him.
  3. McLaren F1 road cars. Aoshima makes great Racing cars, but no road car. Fujimi makes a road car, but it is a curbside with a terrible engine insert, plus back tires that are too tall. If someone made a conversion set for either, I would be happy as a clown .
  4. I was going to say the same thing. I gave the glass to someone a few months ago
  5. 1/35 scale dinosaurs? Whoa. The possibilities are mind-boggling.
  6. Beef Bourgignon. It’s a Cook’s Country recipe that uses an Instant Pot. I served it over mashed potatoes.
  7. I want to see an electric Lotus 7. Edit: You know, a super lightweight car. If it could have a powerful electric motor or two, and accelerate like a super bike, that would be a pretty wild ride. It wouldn’t be a grocery getter, just something for driving like it was stolen.
  8. I’m getting old. I read the thread title and thought “There’s no such thing as a 1921 Dodge Charger”.
  9. Got the answer
  10. Best Balsa says they have it in stock. Texas 3D customs has a 412P engine. I have no idea if it is similar enough. I can tell that Charles is a guru at 3D printing. https://www.bestbalsakits.com/tamiya/tamiya-detail.asp?kitnumber=902 https://tx3dcustoms.com/products/1969-ferrari-312p
  11. Tamiya has an aftermarket 1/6 scale chain. It’s their part number 12674. They have a 1/12 scale set that includes sprockets, but it is apparently out of production. Here’s a link for the 1/6 chain https://www.tamiya.com/english/products/12633/index.html I may have some spare Monogram Mack truck parts. I can check if you want.
  12. Gears or sprockets? There are aftermarket chains for motorcycle models. The old Monogram Mack truck has a chain drive rear axle. Maybe the parts from it could work.

    AMT Hindenburg

Looking for a good deal on a Hindenburg. Missing nacelles, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and gondola OK. I just need the airframe. Thanks
  14. Same here. I skip videos about people’s models. Just post some pics and a description.
  15. If I hear the AI voice on an internet video, I block the account. Anyone who can’t be bothered to get a human to narrate their video is a lazy waste of oxygen. I also block accounts with posts showing one car or plane or whatever, but talking about another. They do that intentionally, to get views and replies. Also a waste of oxygen. Facebook and Instagram are quickly becoming a waste of time. Too much fake baloney. Ugh…the videos with someone finding a newborn kangaroo and raising it. Yeah, the size of a pinto bean and raising that. Video of 5 different kangaroos. Waste of oxygen.
  16. Would a Monogram 1964 GTO or AMT 1962 Catalina roof work? I may have one of those in the stash. Edit: I did a search and these are not Y-bodies.
  17. I bought some Bewitched and Green Acres DVDs. Everyone looks like they gained 100 pounds. I would guess it’s a result of making the image fit a 16:9 screen. Is there a way to restore the picture? Mr. Douglas flying a P-51 Mustang was a surprise. Bailing out was, too. Well, I’m sure the bail out part was government footage. Thanks.
  18. When this kit was in production, I saw several at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. All had been opened and the bicycle stolen. Some people…raised. by. wolves.
  19. Replied to PM. Will try to send it tomorrow.
  20. I love the car but the bicycle is just not my cup of tea. I don’t need anything for it. Just help someone else out when you can. Post “I’ll take it” here, then send a PM with your info.
  21. That is wild.
  22. The decals are made by Draw Decals and still available. IIRC. I’m tempted to do it in 1/24 or 1/18
  23. Forgive the slight hijack, but on another forum there was a discussion about the then new Fujimi 250 GTO vs the old Protar. I mentioned that the Protar was not so bad, and had a nice engine. Another poster referred to me as an “apologist”. I mean GEE, it’s not like the Protar kit tried to exterminate other GTO kits.
  24. I’m sorry for your loss. A good pet is like family. Take solace in knowing you gave her a good life.
  25. The winning bid was hundreds of dollars more than mine. I’m actually glad my bid didn’t win. I bid way too much.
