When this kit was in production, I saw several at Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. All had been opened and the bicycle stolen. Some people…raised. by. wolves.

Replied to PM. Will try to send it tomorrow.

I love the car but the bicycle is just not my cup of tea. I don’t need anything for it. Just help someone else out when you can. Post “I’ll take it” here, then send a PM with your info.

That is wild.

Ever put in a big bid on an auction…Edit: I didn’t win

The decals are made by Draw Decals and still available. IIRC. I’m tempted to do it in 1/24 or 1/18 -
Forgive the slight hijack, but on another forum there was a discussion about the then new Fujimi 250 GTO vs the old Protar. I mentioned that the Protar was not so bad, and had a nice engine. Another poster referred to me as an “apologist”. I mean GEE, it’s not like the Protar kit tried to exterminate other GTO kits.

I’m sorry for your loss. A good pet is like family. Take solace in knowing you gave her a good life.

The winning bid was hundreds of dollars more than mine. I’m actually glad my bid didn’t win. I bid way too much. -

I had wanted a Tamiya 1/12 Lola T-70 for a long time. I kept bidding, but never won. I got a message from a guy in Australia who offered to sell me one for a good price. It was all legit; he put it in a Buy It Now listing and I finally got a grail kit. -

I thought I had deleted this before posting. It seems a bit awkward and rambling. Anyway- it was a resin model of the “Red Baron” P-51 (“RB-51”) Mustang. The real plane was heavily modified, including a Rolls-Royce Griffon V-12 with a displacement of 2240ci. The model was made by Fisher Model and Pattern Works. The company went out of business when Jerry Fisher’s house burned down a few years ago. It sold for $778.96, a LOT more than my bid. -
Anyone make '57/'58 Dodge Royal Lancers in 1/12?

This guy is on Facebook as “Jo Schmocan”. He has offered to do custom printing since Shapeways went out of business. https://custom3dscalecreations.com/ https://m.facebook.com/groups/675181667129250/ -
If you want to get rid of the pro/street chassis, I’m interested.

I wonder what those wheels cost? That’s pretty wild.

I understand the proxy bidding. I once bid $225.00 on an Etzel’s Speed Classics Stutz Blackhawk LSR. Thankfully I got it for about a third of that. Such a cool car. This current item is so cool, I may bid more. -
I mean, I put in just about the most I would pay for something so rare and so cool, but No one has outbid me yet, which is a huge surprise. I don’t really need to spend that money, but man it would be a coup to win that auction.

Drag car from New Zealand about 30 years ago. May still be around, not sure. It raced in the “Wild Bunch” class. Sort of like Pro Mod.- 130 replies

I love Coca-Cola. LOVE IT. But type 3 diabetes had me cut down to pretty much no soda. A friend got me to try Arnold Palmer Lite (half tea and half lemonade) from Arizona Ice Tea. It’s really good. It has about half the sugar and carbs of Coke. Costs less, too.

What is your Favourite Classic Car?

Update: I found a model of the Lamborghini 350 GT. It’s available in 1/12 and 1/8. The seller has 100% positive feedback with 1039 transactions. Appears to be safe (as in quality product/not a scam). https://www.ebay.com/itm/305750492381?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D777008%26algo%3DPERSONAL.TOPIC%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20240315132637%26meid%3D79650df1ed8547c2940700ea1861a92c%26pid%3D102055%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26mehot%3Dnone%26itm%3D305750492381%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D4375194%26algv%3DRecentlyViewedItemsV2MobileWithMLRV6RankerPricelessTop50Features&_trksid=p4375194.c102055.m146925&_trkparms=parentrq%3Ab583f46f1910ab8d0e9139f0ffff7aa4|pageci%3A860f23b6-6994-11ef-b32f-8a67694ff702|iid%3A1|vlpname%3Avlp_homepage -

LDO replied to Falcon Ranchero's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Gosh, there are so many. Lamborghini 350 GT and Miura. Ferrari 275 GTB. 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 coupe. 1969 Camaro. 1970-1973 Camaro Rally Sport. 1971 Barracuda. Mercedes-Benz W111s with the Euro-spec “Cathedral” headlights. (Pic). An hour from now I could have an entirely different list. That Mercedes is just dreamy.
