  7. or make a wood stake body. i think it's important to acknowledge your observation, and next time you may make a different styling change. "learning curve". and it's just as important to know what you don't like, so that you can create what you do like.
  8. a lot of fellows use "blue-tack" available at stationary & art stores. some use a dab of superglue, and then cut the parts apart. i have heard of using white glue, too. i have taken to drilling & pinning with brass rod where possible, and using tiny machine screws if it can be put somewhere unnoticed.
  9. great idea; final product seems to justify the work

  16. i shop at walmart so i can use my 40% coupon at hobby lobby. the poor man always brags how rich he once was, and the rich man how poor.
  17. i'd use the gift certificate for storage media. there's so much information available online. easier to store, although it doesn't look as nice on the coffee table. ton of vintage magazines here: http://www.modelencyclopedia.com/magazines.php?MagId=115
  18. that's really nice; 1/8" scale?
  19. to know, one must learn. to learn, one must ask.
  20. get a smooth undersized pulley and add crosspieces just like the belt. like bellybuttons; ones an innie, the outher an outie!
  21. this is from post #24. did you grind the hood sides thinner in order to open the louvers? it makes a nice detail. also, i have found the early Ford catalog from Mac's to be a helpful reference. http://macsautoparts.com/1909-1927-model-t-ford-parts/camid/MDT/ca/128/
