    I have been planning this Heavy Haul project for a couple years now and I’m excited to get started on it. I made a attempt last year to start this project but with having a new home built and the packing and moving well here it is a year later but I’m in my new home with my new model room set up. The project is going to be a Mack DM800 pulling a refinery vessel on 4 sets of Scheuerle 3 axle module transporters. The Mack is the MPC kit, 3 axle module transporters are from KFS and the refinery vessel will be scratch built using Dan’s engineering design (40 years working in engineering and construction building refineries will have some help). Starting with the Scheuerle 3 axle module transporters and every piece has to have a lot trimmed off. There’s going to be a lot of measurements figured out to. Here’s some pictures of what I’m starting with.

    I’m keeping in the running but it’s not easy right now for me to make any progress on my build. I’m hoping for next month to have something to share.

    I’m looking forward to starting this project. I’ve picked up wheels from AITM and 4 SPMT transports from KFC. I’m going to build a 65’ x 10’ refinery tower for my load. Here’s what I’m starting with so far.
