  1. Yes,I knew that. I also listen to opera, and jazz, When tire of rock & conservative talk radio. I also don't have or own a television, Shocking ain't it!
  2. For me, Dealing with my Photobucket account. Yeah I know the one I have is free, but if I'm having trouble with it being free, what makes them think that I will upgrade and PAY to be P.O.éd.
  3. I have wheel sets by both Mas(Customs by Terry) on ebay and R&MoM. They are both useful. Mas has a metal turned rim, hub and P.E wires Cost more that R&MoM. R&MoM are resin rim& hub Resin tires and the P.E wires. You could build the R&MoM complete, and then Alclad them. They do cost less and come with a resin jig to aid in assembly,
  4. I seem to remember a thread where it was mentioned a very tricky one.
  5. And to that, add the cost of a super long extension cord! (sorry, just couldn't resist!
  6. Check out MAS on ebay. Has the wheels all in metal.
  7. Denatured alcohol is a chemical that should be on most everyone's bench. it's a great plastic prep, cleaner for resin, even a thinner for some acrylics.
  8. Someone asked about this very same thing on AF. I suggest Denatured Alcohol. Don't soak, just dampen a cloth and have at it. Hope it's available in your neck of the woods.
  9. I got 1/16 Revell Volkswagen. It was listed as used and had a good description so I'm happy. Anyone ever build this? anyone got some spare parts?
  10. I'd rather see your avatar as Gates than that..that.... PUGILIST!!!
  11. Hey! after all this growling & barking ,let's have a corvette build-off. I've got enough vettes from 1953 -1962 to cover 1/24th 1/24th and a half(or is it .5) 1/25, 1/25.5 etc. I think that would make a great club display even include some of the early AMT ones
  12. I too Have a couple of these and would like to cast the body and use that to refine and build. Your build is very beautiful and bears out the proverbial silk purse.
  13. Thanks Gerry, I ordered the 5" set from Peachtree. They had the most reasonable shipping! Others I tried wanted 12.00-15.00.
  14. Thanks Gerry, I googled abrasive swabs ( and no, a link to angry sailors didn't come up) but I had no idea what an industry swabs were. I'll check them out.
  15. I saw this car run in late '64 against Dick Brannans then newly built 427(not SOHC) at U.S. 30 Dyer,IN I remember commenting what an ugly color combo on it. I believe, and going on memory here, that the red was a brown or at least a very dark maroon. As an aside, And IMHO the derogatory remarks about Fred Cady decals was uncalled for. Fred was a fixture at the Chicago area shows and I sometimes had the pleasure to be a "table neighbor". Just remember, before Cady decals there was no one else!
  16. Those are the ones I have, but not what I'm looking for.
  17. Completed a trade with Customman (George C ).I believe we are both happy
  18. Thanks, Those I can get and have some grits already. Maybe someone will contact me from Steven's.
  19. I may just go to box stock models after seeing this work and the other Kens' work. Really inspiring!
  20. Looking for the sanders I discussed in another section. (Abrasive cotton swabs?)
  21. It's okay now. After 7 years with an Imac, I just can't get it with this Win7
  22. They were hobby shop only years ago, wondering if they changed . They sell a sander that resembles a n abrasive cotton swab(?) I got some years ago and would like to get more. Tried a Local shop and no go. I never see them online either
