  1. The electric motor goes in the rear to a little cradle and drives a rear wheel. Those window frames are fragile. I haven't broken one yet though.
  2. So where does the "Challenge Mixer" Ready mix truck/tractor figure in this grail list? I have one still sealed.
  3. YEPERS!! Just think of this cast in resin?? Gasser, pro-Mod, Pro-Street, Pro- Rust LOL
  4. I'd like to see a 1/12th 1966 Chevy II SS Done up similar to the Camaro, Vette & '57 Chevy.
  5. Here's one of my rarer ones. I also have one in Yellow.
  6. Ahhhh, the DAMM show. How I miss the Midwest.
  7. I ordered a bunch from AIN Plastics years ago, .020 & .030 was shipped rolled up and in a cardboard tube,& .040 & .060 was cut to 2x4 sheets. At that time I think it was less than $100.00. still have a lot. What I would like is to find a way to cut the sheets into strips really accurately, like the strips from Evergreen .
  8. Nice work as usual Peter, but your slippin'...you didn't open and hinge the doors.
  9. For you or anyone else using Acrylics. Hobby lobby, Michaels etc have acrylic retarders and flow enhancers. Using them will help get the smoothness you desire. Keep a supply of denatured alcohol handy when air brushing and using a pipette drop a squirt or two into the cup if the paint keeps drying on the tip. It shouldn't though with the additives .
  10. Hey Chris sorry for the late response. I'll dig up a pic of my JF 1/43rd Frankenstude. It has the MV lenses on it.
  11. Absolutely Fabulous!! Great Job!
  12. OKAY. Great that this is being made available again, HOWEVER why are you going to Ebay when you have E-modelcars? Seriously Gregg, It is disingenuous of you to advocate us using it and you don't ?
  13. I've switched to Red Frog Hobbies. They don't have as many items, but if they have what your looking for you will probably get a reply very fast.
  14. Fabulous ! I've been inspired to make a phantom dual engine front blown salt car from seeing this, somewhat shorter. Good Job!!
  15. Great topic!! How about a sequel? Primer to Paint? Oh wait, There is underglass already.
  16. "Since i never will get it perfect i wanted to at least try make it look stock" Well then, here is your chance to start a trend. Build the car as IN correct as possible ( you know, put a shaker hood on a six cylinder car etc.) that will give the folks plenty to chortle about.
  17. I hadn't planned on being there either until I was reminded about the date. I'll have to wait until next month's Government Dole Out has me flush with cash!!
  18. WOW! That is some FINite detail. I don't think Perry's went into the jump seat detail at all. Great work.
  19. Why not pick the image you prefer, and build it that way. I once read a definition of ex-pert." Former Drip"
  20. Okay, no pics but I'm still sloggin' away. Have got the headrest/ fin looking real close. I'll try and get some pics up tomorrow.
  21. Well No update as I've hit a wall with the front end. Pictures when I have something worth showing.
  22. I'm gonna buy one and chop the top!!! Seriously, will there be a way to get one or two at Model Z?
  23. And here is an F&F resin piece that was offered as the Royal Emperor. I did some work with the headlites and taillites , rear wheelwells etc. It's stalled as I can't seem to get the front bumper/grille located positively .
  24. Here's one of my (too) many on hold projects. Just cleaned up and old built-up and awaiting inspiration...
  25. Okay, At my age & medication level, I get confused easily Also I concur with Ace about spraying spoons and bodies. You really do need to shoot bodies to get a feel for distance, speed etc, but the spoons are invaluable for testing weird colors and bases. For instance, I mixed up some concoction of leftover colors and it looked good in the bottle. I was really stunned ( and pleased) at how the color looked under gray and white bases. The white made it look bold, like for a custom, the gray muted it to a gold very close to a Ford factory color from the '60's > BTW , I use plastic Soup spoons, that have a bigger bowl than the regular size.
