Okay, Kevin replied. Apparently, he made and sold that trunk lid some years ago, but it wasn't a hot seller (his words). Now to post an ad in the Wanted section here. -
I'd read where the 2.8 litre V6 was pressed into service after a lengthy hiatus. Now, if the rumours are true, the TH-200 should be rejoining its powerhouse soonly hereafter.

IIRC, the Cop Out iteration of the Duster was originally the Mongoose car, then got the Daniel [sic] treatment some time in the mid-seventies.

Going with the kit's Hemi, or some thing else? I've seen your 225-powered edition (positively posh!) -- how about a 440 Mag/ auto with air conditioning from the AMT1971 Charger? Just change the rocker arm covers to the 1969 & earlier types, and use the air cleaner from the Revell 1968 Dart GTS. Ne'er-the-less, thistle be a fine Charger in your hands.

Thanks much for the info! I'd neglected to enquire: how about amber turn signals on the rear? Perhaps I'm answering my own query here, but I've seen photos and videos of the 1967 GMC Suburban which The Pink Floyd Sound used to transport their instruments, but I didn't notice amber turn signals... unless they were added to the bumper or rear-sides of the truck?

I, too, didn't realise there was a difference in not only nomenclature, but in functionality. Thanks for the new-to-me info, @Ace-Garageguy. I've heard both names employed, and have read the same. Like any colloquialism, one predominates the other, however in misnomers (e.g., "rear window" vs. "backlight". A fixed/stationary piece of glass is a "light"; a "window" can be repositioned/opened. That didn't stop the manufacturers from employing both terms in literature: "rear window defogger" and "backlight louvers", etc.). Any time I see a torsion bar equipped car (Chryslers, i.e.) with slapper bars, I cringe. Even the factory race cars (typically, 426 Max Wedge / Ramcharger) had the 'bars affixed from the axle-rearward. Then there's the Cal-Tracs for MoPars... quite likely true traction bars as Bill has pointed out (please correct my info if it's incorrect).

Yes, and thanks for the updated info. I'd forgotten about the snowplow's customised intake setup. Last time I built a Blazer was, jeez, 40 years ago? I remember hand-painting the styllised Jimmy emblems on the front fenders (I'd kill to have that steady hand and hawk eye vision again!) and using the GMC grille from a friend's ruined pickup.

It's the first item listed above (ROG site). I wonder how well its SBC has held up over the years? Time to bash it with the newer-reissue of the GMC snowplow for stock height suspension.

I recall seeing the 1999 Silverado in the R-M 1997 catalogue (maybe the 1998 catalogue issued in summer 1997). It was a breakthrough design at the time; a radical departure from even the radical 1988 C/K series' design. The first 1:1's I recall seeing was in summer 1998. They were pilot/ preproduction models... in a scrap yard. I couldn't believe me eyes! They were being cut-up with Sawzalls -- none of them had V.I.N.s-- and disseminated around the yard for parts.

From what I can recall from reviews in Scale Auto Enthusiast in c.1987, those 1/16 GTA and its relative IROC-Z were slightly-chided. Ostensibly, the updates (from their c.1982 origins) were so-so (e.g., not completely accurate). I've never had a copy of either, so I can't attest to any faults. A friend had the IROC-Z version (moulded in red and black, IIRC) but the 1987 earthquake destroyed it before he had a chance to start building it.

Thanks for the correction. IIRC, the GTA was the Pontiac take of the IROC Camaro, come to think of it... TPI induction 350 (vs. the more common 305).
