  1. Hervorragende Arbeit Jens! Diese 3D-gedruckten Reifen sehen toll aus! Ist das der gleiche Deckel wie der im Monkeemobile?
  2. I buy from independent / brick & mortar sellers as much as possible. I'd rather pay more in order to support an individual's overhead (and I will definitely pay more just to avoid Amazon). Two-cents of advice with a nickel's worth of change.
  3. Surely is a handsome boy there. There's just something about black & white 'Farm Cats', though they're not breed-specific. I can see why the Egyptians embraced the Afrikan Wildcat lo those centuries ago.
  4. Here's a great article on Sam's '69, with mentions of his earlier (Mercury) and later cars. Sam Auxier Jr’s Gear-Grabbing Ultra Stock 1969 Mustang (motortrend.com)
  5. Tæo et 'Cleveland' 10. Mai. 2022 14h 30
  6. Originally it was a gag in National Lampoons Magazine , but I firstly remember it from Car & Driver from the early-mid 1980s, as do you.
  7. I've seen a few of Flores' builds in person (back when Pegasus had a location where I grew up), and they're... just... mind-blowing! It's one thing to see them in photos or video --absolutely fantastic-- but another thing entirely to see them in the flesh.
  8. I don't have any messages here, nor in my email.
  9. To whom are you referring?
  10. Thanks much for the update, @Khils!
  11. Sweet roadster, Mike! The 1968-1972 Corvettes look great in dark green, as exemplified by your version here.
  12. No reply to my email yet, as of 1300 hrs. today ( 8 Mai 2022 ) .
  13. Thanks for the update. I'll check my email to see if he's replied to my message.
  14. Love C-bod, Tim! Heck, I just mentioned the Johan C-bodies' chassis as potential doners for other 1966 & up C's --- now I'm going to have to examine my copy of the 1968 Fury I 'A38'. Was your model built at Jefferson , Belvedere, or Newark ? ?
  15. Okay, I'm thinking of the even-lighter Q3 turquoise : The 1970 Hamtramck Registry - 1970 Paint Chip Charts Slideshow (hamtramck-historical.com)
  16. A great site, albeit flawed (to an extent). I reference Hamtramck Historical for , among other things, the paint codes. IIRC, Q5 --and its darker relative-- date to at least 1968 (earliest car I've seen in Q5 was a '68 Barracuda Formula-S 383 hardtop). I wonder how the Johan '68 Fury A38's chassis looks? There aren't any screw posts/holes from what I remember...
  17. Those happen to be my favourite 15" wheel covers. They were installed on cars which were originally shod with the 'Recall' [W27'] wheels; they're going on the Revell 1970 Charger kit (with correct tyres as well). Speaking of tyres, where did you get the ones you're using? Sounds like you dad's Polara was Q5 turquoise originally. Good call on the chassis -- separate subframe just like all 1966 & up C-bodies.
  18. Another perspective (in absence of evidence to the contrary) is that the driver of the 'Cuda swerved to avoid something or someone in his path-of-travel, and rear-ended an immobile object, which swung-around and hit a pole, which fell-upon the roof of the 'Cuda.
  19. You're thinking of the 1970 Yenko Deuce Nova -- that had the LT-1. Now... when is someone going to make a kit of the 1970 COPO Nova? C;mon, Revell, you already have the 1969 as a starting point...
  20. Where did you purchase them? It would seem that they're not available in not only California , but the U.S. as well (according to Tamiya's website). Please give a name and/or a link. Thanks.
  21. I'd like to build a replica of the 1980 Scout II from Vice Grip Garage! It has a Nissan Turbo Diesel six banger (rare as !) .
  22. Thanks for the images and review! I was perusing his site, and was ready to take out a loan from the Irish Mafia to fund the many kits I'd buy! But, since the most interesting subjects need everything else to be bashed or scratched, I relented. Surely, I'd pull the trigger if he offered a 1970,1971,1972 Dart Swinger that'd work with the Revell 1968 Dart GTS (340 from the AMT 1971 Duster 340 would more than suffice). Do you feel that the 'glass' bucks would polish-out to a clear? At a minimum, those bucks would work as templates for Evergreen et al. styrene clear. Water your plans for the Futura? Monogram 1987 Thunderbird for the frame/chassis/suspension?
  23. I watched HPI Guy's review-build of the new issue, and I didn't see the JL2 bonnet. I know that the 1969 [phantom] COPO Nova and the Yenko Nova include stock exhaust manifolds, but those kits have a newer-tooling Mark IV; witness the separate oil pan and different belts/pulleys (including the A.I.R. Pump-sans-plumbing). I haven't tried to see if they interchange between the c.1990 tooling 396-427-454 and the newer (c.2010?) BBC. While the Chambered Exhaust doesn't bother me (my planned build of the COPO Camaro is of a SS/DA car -- open headers is all it'll have), it truly is a rare/unusual option for the X-bodies (likely the F-bodies as well).
  24. The last reissue had them -- the one with the green car on the box (c.2013?). Revised (corrected) Revell '70 Torino GT Reissue album | Funman1712 | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy. *EDIT* I'd have provided photos of my copy's contents, but it's buried deep in me stash.
