My apologies. "Oxidiser" is another way of saying 'Supercharger'.

Revell 1969 Camaro SS 396 - Kit contents

Thanks much for taking the time to photograph and share the image. That sheet looks NICE! It even includes 1969 and 1970 licence plates! Is this kit still available, current production? -
Nice and neat and clean -- love the colour combo! Where did you source the oxidiser for the 302?

Almost one month (27/05) since the last update on this bad boy. Is it in a stalled mode for now?

That Dana 60 and its modified shackles = perfection! Are you planning on any other exhaust modifications? Those mufflers are sub-sized, IMO. The moulded-on exhaust is a black eye on that chassis (and a bit of a P.I.T.A. to properly paint). (Speaking of the exhaust -- my next build of this kit will have the 'N97' exhaust. That's a mandatory package -- Noise Reduction Package -- on many California models; primarily, 440+6 and Hemi)

What hood is this? (Real car, two pics)

1970, non-Cowl Induction; 1971-1972 Heavy Chevy and standard Super Sport. There may or may not be structural differences between those years, but am not sure. -
Language barrier is the conclusion I've come to.

A former coworker used to call him "Barris the Butcher", whereas I've long referred to him as "Bondo Bandit Barris". His "works" are frightening enough to cause a miscarriage!

Begs the question: Do those custom parts from the 1972-only-issue of the MPC Road Runner exist?

Quite likely a re-pop of the ~30 year old AMT 1968 R.R., with its grotesque late 80's-early 90's graphics, wheels, engine dress-ups, as well as a stock (wiper motor horn) option. I hope that I'm wrong -- I hope that Round2 will tool some period correct wheels, engine customising parts, etc., in addition to a full compliment of stock decals. Even if the yucky 80's-90's parts are its only option, I would buy a copy or two if the DOHC Hemi from the Super Bee is included...

I miss these two superiors (and I am forever grateful for the companionship they provided for many years). Oliver Nathanel Hawthorne Sabastian & Molly Anne McCalico 18.06.2016 around 0400 HRS.

I've never understood as to why Monogram elected to include the incorrect-for-this-application axle/diff assembly, especially since the car it's modelled after has a Dana 60. Years ago, I started on a 440 Six Barrel/4-speed/Dana replica of a 1:1 hardtop which is black with white interior. I ended up giving the unfinished kit to a friend so that he could complete it (assembly-only at that point, as all of the mods were completed). RE: the dash and its instrument cluster & bezels: Scratch building the entire assembly would be, IMO, the way to go. The 1:1 car was built sans radio anyhow, since it's an export. Besides, the kit's radio represents an aftermarket item anyhow -- totally incorrect. The whole shebang would require extensive reworking to be accurate. Keep up the GREAT work!

I can't believe just how bad my memory's gotten -- less than one month, and I'd forgotten that you're replicating the GA4 drop-top. The steering wheel is, as you've surmised, 'wood' on the front, black on the backside.
-
Incredible and outstanding! WOW! Are you modelling one of the eleven 1:1 cars? Or, are you creating your own, 'hypothetical' version? Those disc brakes look lovely -- single piston and all.

Hopefully it'll have those delicious 1990s poodle options (lipstick graphics, b'ugly wheels, etc.)
