Chevy Rescue Van

The ancient AMT Chevy Van kit? Lost track as to how many I've built in me 52 years. Other than the aforementioned engine, what fitment issues are you encountering? Please post photos, if you would. -
70s cars as they really were!

Monrovia Train Depot ! Great background for that car. The LS-5 wasn't available in California for 1972, IIRC -- not sure that even the '400' (402) was an option here. I prefer the front clip of the '71 & '72 . -
Emptier bank accounts.

The 1970 Road Runner is modified from the GTX tooling (grille, and all-new interior) . I'd like it if the GTX's custom parts were included (tunnel ram induction, and not Centerline wheels).

Quite possible. I hope it's something as prosaic as that.

Quite lovely 'X' there! That colour is sweet; its finish, perfect. Does this kit include the 400 crank in order to make that 350 into a 383?
-
That's exactly how I got two colours I wanted (both single-stage): - TB3 Basin Street Blue [P] / Super Blue [D] - GY3 Curious Yellow [P] / Citron Yella [D]

Me bank account is in for a ride! Thank god the 1976 Caprice/trailer is available again (kept missing out on that one). The D50 is also coming home with me; Coca~Cola embellishments are fine in me book. Some day me newspaper route will afford me the financial opportunity to purchase the International C3PO (or what-ever it's called) Tractor.

Marty Stuart & The Fabulous Superlatives sweet version of the Count Five Psychotic Reaction [1966]. I went to one of their performances on 15/04/2022 (birthday gift), and was blown away by this band! Should you ever have the opportunity to see these guys perform, do it! BTW, this sounds even better in person:

I haven't received an email reply from him yet, either. I'm quite concerned, as are a handful here. If we resided near each other, I'd cruise by his place to check up on him.

You reside in a very humid region -- have you always lived there?

You can get an aerosol can of touchup paint in FJ5 (Sublime/Lime-Lite) for +/- $20, and have enough for a few kits. *EDIT* Here's the link to where one may purchase the aforementioned paints: 1970 Plymouth All Models Colors of Touch Up Paint (automotivetouchup.com) -
customized Monkee mobile

The Round2/MPC 1967 GTO that's been reissued is, in es, what the Monkeemobile is based upon. I'm sure that older issues of that MPC 1967 GTO are available on the cheap (it's a much chided kit which requires quite a bit of massaging to make it presentable), perhaps even the Revell 1966 GTO could be had reasonably (another older kit, but with modern tooling). Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. -

1-of-650 (+/-) 1970 Swinger 340s with the W15 Wire Wheel Covers. Original owner car in triple-green (including V8F tail stripe), 4-speed, disc brakes, power steering, radio, hood pins, scoops. Had Cragar S/S from 1972-2015 (hard to find in that [stupid] 5x4" bolt pattern even back then). Here's a photo of the W15 wheel cover -- more images to follow when I receive them from its owner... -

I'm building the 1989 Blueprinter reissue (moulded in red) --- such a fun kit! Keeping its body in its as-moulded colour, but with a few coats of Future [et al.] brushed on. Top and interior in white; carpet will be red instead of black or beige; may keep the dashboard red, too. Only change I'm going to make is the tyres (taller & wider rear) and, possibly, wheels (still Cragar S/S, but may have to go wider on rears). I'm considering buying another one of these kits, and changing its wheels (maybe Motor Wheels Spyders) and going with a different colour scheme. -
Bill, thanks for the links and, previously, photos of Burns's offerings. How "radical" is the texture (i.e., the stirations [sp] ) of the 'brown' bodies? I'm seriously considering placing a suggestion/order for a 1970 Dart Swinger -- I wonder if Burns can scan a Revell 1968-1969 Dart GTS for the basis of me proposal? That's make things much easier (e.g., frame-chassis, glass, etc.). Thanks.

I'm going to email him as well. Thanks for your reply!

Lower trim levels/ non-SS models were sans the black painted rockers & lower fenders. Are you planning to replicate the 325hp, 350hp, or 375hp engine?
