  1. Makes you wonder when the '56 300B will come out?
  2. I like the idea of making your own base hood. Surprised a resin caster hasn't make one yet.
  3. I used to like watching F-1 and I do enjoy the different tracks and local scenery. But all it is is follow the leader. I'd really like to see some of the cars raced in the 1950's and 1960's. After about 1980, they all look similar, like Indy Car. NASCAR is getting to be a bore as well. I really like watching BTCC. I'd like to see some detailed Touring Car models.
  4. Jim, the reason to use Photobucket is that it will automatically adjuster the size to 400 or so resolution so that you don't get that crazy error message and have to resize the pictures. Looking forward to your pictures....
  5. 8-tracks please...
  6. Very nice build on a dead sexy car.
  7. Kevin, thanks for responding. Does the base rear bumper also come with the tail lamp lens? Do you also by chance sell a base (no power bulge) hood? I'm still deciding how to build the car and I'm looking at all my options.
  8. How often do 1960 Valiants pop up for sale?
  9. Car Shows don't just give you thousands of dollars in cash?
  10. It's amazing how clear the the finish is...
  11. I saw the one with A/FX N Scale, but it looks like he sold everything off. He HAD the right tail lights...and a nice SE hidden headlamp grille.
  12. I've seen mention of a Super Bee conversion kit. Who is the seller of this kit? Missing Link? Also, does this come with the base tail lamp panel or just an unplated R/T rear bumper/lamps. Does anyone make a standard hood for this kit? Any help is appreciated.
  13. How'd Citrus Springs have such nice weather today. 50 miles south of there we go hit with a blizzard and Lakeland has no snow plows... I was able to drive into downtown Lakeland and took this picture....
  14. Today I got indigestion watching the Lions play the Packers....
  15. That is clearly a spotless build. Not one imperfection to be seen.
  16. I'm in the process of moving but I should have my desk/bench done soon. I have the kit already so that isn't an issue. I'll go with a '63 Volkswagen Beetle... Yes, Herbie! I need to decide on an engine. Herbie came with a few different engines from a Porsche 356 engine to a dual carbed 1835cc engine. I think I have a stock 356 motor hanging around... Does Jimmy Flintstone have a Buddy Hacket character?
  17. I just picked up the AMT '71 Charger. In the process of moving, but I'll get started once I'm settled in. Does anyone do the R/T stripes in white?
  18. Very nice. As mentioned, a car with a different color is really nice to see. You have to love the plain janes... Um, by the way, and this nit does not reflect the build, but as a license plate collector...Texas uses front and rear plates...
  19. A 4-dr sedan, but no wagon.
  20. '66 Nova kits are plentiful and come with a sweet little SBC...and it starts a parts box.
  21. The trim may have been different, but not by much.
  22. As the heading says, how do you display your completed models. Open shelf, enclosed case? What do you do?
  23. I'd also go with a 409/348 for a vintage look.
  24. Um, the Beauville was part of the Bel Air family. The Townsman was part of the 210 line. The only 2-dr wagon in the Bel Air line was the Nomad. There were no 4-dr wagons in the 150 line. If the Beauville has Bel Air trim, it may be correct (I've never seen one). Actually, I saw a '55 4-dr wagon a couple weeks ago, but I didn't look at it (or the cowl tag) to see what it was but I think it was a 210.
