  1. I'm always looking for the ever popular Chevy Citation kit. Or a Fiero...
  2. Love the Panther Pink!
  3. I keep waiting to see a '70 Mopar in Moulin Rouge...
  4. Tom's Wish List 1) 1964-1966 Studebaker Daytona 2) 1950/1951 Studebaker Commander 3) 1955/1956 Packard 400 2-dr Hardtop 4) 1957/1958 DeSoto Adventurer 5) 1963 Chrysler 300J
  5. There was never a Regal in 1972. That was still s Skylark. The first Regal was made in 1973.
  6. I never saw this kit growing up. Looking forward to it.
  7. In the opening credits for the movie Sahara, the camera pans the cabin of the lead character, Dirk Pitt. As the camera pans the cabin you can see models of the CSS Texas ironclad, a model of a dual cowl phaeton Duesenburg, a Shelby Cobra, a Messerschmitt ME 109 and another white car of the 1930's that I couldn't make out...
  8. The problem was that either the '56 Fury or '57 Fury was actually fast than the 300 in the old beach flying mile. Chrysler would actually shut the Fury down before the mile was over so a time was never confirmed. And those were polyhead engines.
  9. I need to learn calligraphy so I can do treasure maps on the underside of 'trunk' areas with an 'X' marking the spot. Maybe take something completely unrelated attached to the underside.
  10. The Charger 4-dr should have just been 'Magnum', including the wagon. Use the same front end on both. All of the front ends for Charger, Magnum and 300 interchange. I might be wrong, but I think 300 'estates' are still being sold in europe.
  11. I'm a Chrysler guy and the name just doesn't do it for me. I hope when they bring out the Avenger/200 replacement that the Dodge isn't named Coronet...
  12. Zaku - "I keeck a touchdown..." I like this. In many ways this would work in a urban dio for an alley way.
  13. There was a thought to do a Doc Hudson, but I really want to do a stock one first and maybe a '54 Hollywood.
  14. I don't paint the undersides. I will try to color match as necessary around the rockers, wheel wells, etc, so that nothing appears unpainted. But in the unlikely chance someone may wish to see the underside, maybe I need add some little comments, or attach little gifts or treasures to be found.
  15. If you are not aware of it yet, check out the H.A.M.B. and do a search for gassers. You'll have a lot of inspiration. One word of warning. Quite a few really ARE cranky... Gassers are OK. I'll build one at some point. But I also like Super Stock, Altereds, Modified Production and road course stuff like early Trans Am. At some point at least one of each will be on the shelf.
  16. You'll be disappointed. The '55 has a 3-3-1.
  17. Just another thing to check out the next time I hit the Studebaker Museum in South Bend...
  18. As I'm looking to build a Herbie from the '66 kit, who sells the decals? I may need two sets.
  19. If the engine in the Chrysler is as nice as the Hudson, everyone will need a case just for the Hemi's alone.
  20. 392 Hemi from the Chrysler 300C.
  21. I return to Michigan every year for Christmas (Sterling Heights). And every year it has snowed during my visit. I'm sure I'll get my yearly practice on how to drive in a blizzard this year too.
  22. If I can find them at a good deal, I wouldn't mind getting a Tyrrell P34 (six wheeled race car) or a Ferrari 312T. Very unique cars, especially the Tyrrell.
