Thanks! I like it better this way.

Excellent job on the coil overs.

I decided to remove the large tunnel on the interior side of the firewall. I cut a piece of a transmission tunnel from an AMT '66 Nova parts kit and attached it to the front of the Beretta's transmission tunnel. It doesn't look like a van's interior anymore. lol The front of the Beretta's transmission tunnel looked like an interior engine cover in a van. The Beretta's transmission tunnel is a bit high but I think I'll leave it. The dash board is almost done and I added some more bars to the roll cage. There's still more to add. Now I have to decide what to do with the underside floor. The kit has it represented as a belly pan covering the chassis. I might leave the belly pan but I'm considering sanding it down to get the center raised section off and adding some 2 mm half round rods to the bottom to look like chassis rails. Then I would remove the center to show the transmission and drive shaft. What do you all think?

I finished adding the details to the exhaust system. Other than the fuel pump which I need to make the bottom is done. -
Hey thanks guys! I'll get some more pictures posted in a day or so. I've been doing more work but haven't taken any pictures yet.

Thanks guys! I'll order some of these.

I'm looking for gray embossing powder to use as carpeting. So far I have only found gray embossing powder that's either iridescent or metallic. Is there a regular gray embossing powder or do I have to use another color and paint it after it's applied?

Excellent job! You sprayed painted over the embossing powder? What color embossing powder did you use?

I did some more work on the exhaust system. I made the mufflers, added the cutoff pipes that allow it to bypass the mufflers and installed 1 mm brass pins to attach it to the floor. I still have to add some clamps and details and also the collectors on the headers. -

I'm going to do some tests with the gloss white and Alclad Chrome and Polished Aluminum as well as Alclad White Aluminum that doesn't require a base coat. -

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll test the gloss white under Alclad Chrome and Polished Aluminum. I also have Alclad White Aluminum that doesn't require a glossy base coat that I'll test. -
Hay thanks! I'm not sure. I'd have to close some of it up and come up with a way to blend the transmission tunnel into it. I've already gone much further with the modifications than I had planned. This was supposed to be mostly out of box but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'll think about it.

Is there any way you can take this discussion on photos to another thread? While it might prove helpful it's way off topic. Thanks. -
I had attached a picture of this Pro Street Beretta in an earlier post. I found this other picture of a Beretta that I'm starting to think is the same car. It has the same ground effects and wheels. Maybe this car was converted from a race car to Pro Street. The roll cage even looks the same and is also the body color. I thought this was interesting.

Thanks!

I wasn't happy with the way the rear bars of the roll cage looked and the lack of space between the wheel tubs. Today I widened the space between the wheel tubs and started changing the rear of the roll cage. The kit's rear bars of the roll cage looked too stylish and not enough like a real car. I still have to finish adding some rods. I used 2 mm rod. The diameter is slightly larger than the kit's roll cage but once it's painted they should blend in. The white styrene is making the diameter appear larger than it looks in person.

I never thought to spray Alclad Chrome over gloss white. I'll test it and also test Alclad Polished Aluminum over gloss white. -

What paint do you guys use to paint interior tin in drag cars? I have Alclad Aluminum, White Aluminum and Polished Aluminum. I'm thinking one of these. I just don't want it to turn out looking like silver paint. -
I set the Beretta on the wheels and took some pictures. It'll have Centerline Convo Pros all around. The wheel backs kept popping off so I just used the kit's front wheels for these pictures.

Great job on the roll cage.

I got inspired and I stretched the nose/wheelbase. It actually solved the problem I had trying to get the rack and pinion to fit. I had originally moved the engine forward and the rack and pinion didn't fit. Now that the nose is stretched I was able to move the engine back to almost it's original location. I also attached the Turbo 400 to the engine.

Nice job so far.
