  1. Thanks! It says 1/25 on the box so I wanted to be sure since some of the Revell Monogram 1970 Chevelle glue kit releases have 1/25 on the box and it's 1/24.
  2. Is the Revell 1970 Chevelle Snap kit actually 1/25 scale or is it 1.24 like the glue kit?
  3. I will be shipping a model and I also want the model to be 'permanently' attached. I'll tie it down with wire. Has anyone used the AMT Deluxe Display base? Does it have holes or will I need to drill them?
  4. I'd like to permanently mount a car in a display case, like the one in the attached picture. What would be best, to glue it down or somehow tie it down? If I use glue will epoxy work on the kit's rubber tires? Any advice will be appreciated.
  5. Wasn't the tooling back dated to the 1970 from the 1972?
  6. Thanks Casey, I'll check out these links. I agree Round 2 does a better job on the kits then RC2 did.
  7. How is the plastic in the Jack Reacher reissue? Did the tooling hold up or should I pick up one of the earlier issues?
  8. Thanks Rob! Do the white lettered tires come in the early issues or just the Jack Reacher issue?
  9. Is the AMT Jack Reacher 1970 Chevelle release, the same kit as the earlier AMT 1970 Chevelle kits?
  10. The '70 Chevelle is awesome! I'm planning on using the AMT '69 Olds 442 chassis in an AMT '70 Chevelle. I'm glad I saw this one.
  11. Thanks Bill and Casey for the information! I'm going to order a 3M respirator.
  12. The vinyl top and the paint look great!
  13. I see the 3M respirators come in 3 sizes, small, medium and large. How do I determine which size to get? My head measures approximately 22.75 inches around.
  14. Thanks Tulio!
  15. Thanks guys!
  16. Thanks Dan!
  17. Thanks David!
  18. Thanks Tom! Removing the pegs on the sides of the cloth roof was one of the first things I did. The cloth roof piece still has the pegs underneath to position it. I just glued it in place with some epoxy. Mike.
  19. Thanks Steve! I modeled this one after the original movie version. This is my favorite look for Herbie.
  20. Hey thanks guys! I had fun with this one. It was something I wanted for decades and I finally have a Herbie. The decals were made by a friend a while ago.
  21. Here is a link to the completed model in the Under Glass section.
  22. I just completed this one. It's painted with Gravity Colors Herbie Off White, which is actually VW Pearl White. Clear coat is Gunze Mr. Super Clear. Below is a link to my build thread:
  23. Excellent job Matt! This is such a clean build! It looks like Revell did a better job with the stance on this one.
  24. How is the front wheel stance on this kit? The Revell 1968 and 1969 Charger kits sit very high in the front. Is the front stance lower?
  25. I couldn't see the lack of the trim panel in the pictures that were posted of the kit's parts. Thanks for showing me this.
