Does anyone know what the color options were available for the interiors in the 1976 Ford Econoline van?
I think black, dark blue and tan were the options for '76. Maroon may have been an option in '77.
Dominik,
You did a great job on this build! The dashboard looks correct for this van.
I have to pick up one of the re-issue 'Phantom' kits. I had a 'Vantom' many years ago that never got completed.
Mike.
Kane, This is looking to be an exciting build to watch! I have a couple of these kits that I'll hopefully get to building one day.
BTW the size of the wheels and tires look perfect.
This kit is based on the earlier Monogram 1/24 scale Pro Stock cars. Some changes were made to the wheel wells and the roll cage but it's essentially the same. I compared one of these to a Monogram Iaconio P/S Camaro and the chassis is the exact same size.
Mike.
I'm starting to think the sportsman chassis' are used more for custom projects then with their original 55/57 bodies. One of these days I have to pick up a Revell Sportsman 55 kit and use it to build an early Camaro.
Tyrone,
I love your Pro-Mods but this is quickly becoming my favorite. I like cars that have stock looking bodies with large tires tucked way underneath like this. Great work as always!
Mike.
Niko,
Nice work so far! I always liked the Beretta as a drag car. I've been wanting to build a Reher-Morrison Beretta but just haven't gotten around to starting that project.
This is how the model should have come in the box. This is now a model of the General Lee most seen on screen with the stock interior and single hoop roll bar.
The scratch building is very well done. The dash is outstanding!
