  1. Thanks so much Chris. I searched online at the real 66 Falcon's and none had a console like my model has. I am going to use it since it was in the original build. Also since I only have 1 seat, & the wrong one at that, I am putting 66 Mustang front seats in it.
  2. I am rebuilding a AMT 66 Falcon. The console & seat were in the model when I got it. Are they the correct pieces for this kit? Thanks for any help.
  3. Here are mine. Happy 4th everyone.
  4. This will be a flatbed with the wood stake sides like our real truck was. We used it to deliver our custom cabinets to the job sites. The color will be gold with an ivory accents & interior. Need to see if I have a pic of the real truck somewhere.
  5. Off to a great start Bill. I started on almost the same truck model in 2017. My dad had a 64 F-350 flat bed we used in our custom cabinet business. I modified an old AMT 63 unibody kit. Scratch built a frame, modified the cab into a small window & need to correct the side body lines. Still a long ways to go. Is mocked up on the wrong wheels. I do have some resin wheels I got off Ebay, but think yours are better looking. Here's a pic.
  6. Went into a HL on my way home from work tonight. Lots of the same stuff that other people have shown was red tagged. I should have bought all of the kits, but only bought a Mack DM600. $11.99 Red tag sale! Checked the store nearest my house & there were no red tags, but lots of empty spots on the shelves.

  8. Well no wonder the interior looked different. I just did a search & you are correct. 60 T-Bird interior. Thanks for your help!
  9. I am looking for some info on this old Falcon junker I got years ago in a big parts lot. It is molded in white plastic like a regular model kit. Is not the funky plastic some promos are made of. Can't seem to figure out the year it represents. 60,61,62,63? Seats seem to be a different pattern from any others I have seen. Thanks for any help.
  10. There should be a couple holes in the chassis crossmember for the rear shocks to mount to. The axle end mounts to the inside of the tabs on the axle tube. The front shocks mount to the outside of the trailing arms.
  11. Beautiful Nova!! Great color & detailing!
  12. That transmission & TC represent a SM-465 granny 4-speed & 205 Transfer case. Usually found in GM pickups,blazers,etc.
  13. Great job on this one. Really like how it turned out.
  14. Another cool build! I have a few of the Comet Pro Stock kits including a Fast Eddie. Always loved these kits!
  15. Brian, I see that the ATHS had a 15th annual show in Deerfield,Mass. in May. Could this be the same show with a new location?
  16. Nice looking rigs! I was at that show years ago. Is a great one for sure!
  17. Growing up I had the Hot Rod magazine that featured Steve Lisk's bad ass 9 second street Challenger in it. Always loved that car. Is cool that it's still alive & well.
  18. Got a bunch of AMT Willys parts for $5.00. Who says you can't find deals on Evilbay, lol. Now I have all the parts needed to restore my original Willys pickup I built as a kid.
  19. Bumping this one to the top. Has any more been done on the truck ?
  20. Nice fabricating on this wild 904 ! I built the 1/32 scale version 904 in 1969 at age 5. Still have it. Love what you did with this one.. Thanks for sharing the build. Happy belated Birthday!
  21. Here's one I picked up years ago at a show. Was built using a Ford race car chassis & Boss 429. I will rebuild it with a proper truck frame & big block Chevy engine & it will be low.
