Nice looking semi with a big condo cruising down the highway early the other morning.

Received some resin pieces from Ebay. 62-66 GMC hood & 60-66 grill. Auction only had one pic of the parts. Said new. No idea who cast them. Should have know better,but was cheap. Grill has a slight twist,but hood is a POS. Haven't heard back from the seller yet.

I have had that happen and think it's the heavy paint coat that makes the primer react like yours did. I would let it dry & then sand away all the imperfections. Might have to prime again to see if the mold lines have gone away.

Looking good so far! Love those old Macks.

Dug up an old post,but a good one. I see the new Polar Lights Coca-Cola bug has all the different wheels in it as well. I built the Herbie snapper years ago,but not like the box. It's not too bad a kit,just wish it would have had the extra wheels.

Does anyone know if these wheels were ever kitted in any of the Porsche kits or maybe some other kit? Anyone making them 3D or resin? I would ask Empinut,but seems he's been away from the forums for a while now. Thanks for any help.

The one on the left is from the AMT vans. Never seen the other one before.

Thanks Dave. That Nova was originally my GF's dads model that he built in the 60's. The trailer next to it was his also. The car was missing a few parts,but I have found them & plan on rebuilding the car one day soon.

Didn't finish in the 1st BOYD Comp,but might be able to get this Revell 69 Camaro done. Started in 2001 as a badly built Ebay bomb. Stripped it & painted Testors red from a Testors single action airbrush. Was my 1st time using an airbrush. Wasn't planning on any stripes,but there is a bad tire rub mark on the hood scoop now.

Here's a pic of some vintage trailers I have. The white one is from the 1st issue 64 Vette hardtop. I have no idea where the others are from other than maybe the old Chevy or Ford P/U kits.

Nice! Good to see that one being cast.

I still have every model that I bought, started,and or completed from when I started in 1969 at age 5. There are a bunch that got started ,but never finished. Then there are the ones that got torn apart & parts used on something else. I would like to finish all the started kits & have also been getting the parts together to rebuild all the ones I tore down & robbed parts from. I have a Revell 56 F100 that was redone 3 times in the early 70's. I am building 2 others to replicate the 2 early versions I did. I think its fun to put the old builds together & have them back on the shelf completed again as they were so long ago.

Been wondering about some model parts I got from my gf that were her dads. I can tell this is how the model was originally built by him by the paint & glue marks. I guess the red frame & dash in my pic is from an older 34 truck kit. Never knew it was molded in red before a few days ago. The cab almost looks chopped,but isnt. Wonder if it might be an older Lindberg 32? Bed & cycle fenders maybe old AMT 32 car?

Here's a few more pics of my gray & black 36 Ford wheels. None seem all that perfect in the slot/spoke area. Can't hardly see with the naked eye,but bad spots show with Macro camera setting. A-G Bill, let me know when you get those 36 kits. If the wheels are not there,I will gladly give you a set of 4.
