  4. Very nice build!
  5. I am up for this. Been too long since I have even touched plastic. Really need to get back to building again.
  6. Here are a few of my Hot Rods for Saturday.
  7. I have used Dupli-color & Plasti-Kote buzz cans to paint many of my models for years. I used to use their primers, but they can't seem to be found here in Cali anymore. I now use Rustolium primer. Only problem I had was one time after I sprayed their clear, the paint cracked. Pretty much ruined the paint job. Now I use Testors One Coat lacquer clear straight out of the can. Never had a problem with it. Both of these cars were sprayed this way.
  8. Looking good! You have done a nice job making your own parts.
  9. Lots of positive healing thoughts! Take care of yourself too.
  10. Got a few 1/8 scale parts from a Monogram Golden T kit & Trans Am at a yard sale. I dug through a bunch of boxes, but this is all I found. Also got a big roll of wire. Should have enough to do plug wires forever, lol.
  11. Pretty wild looking car there Tom. Can't wait to see it all repaired. I have a junker 40 hood, is even green, but not the right shade . I might try to match the old paint. I believe it's old lacquer. I will keep you posted. Hope someone may have an idea on the taillights.
  12. Great pictures Tim! Thank you for sharing.
  13. A few more of his original 60's builds. 57 Ford, 60,Falcon,and a SMP 62 Vette.
  14. These are models that my GF gave me. Her late dad build them in the 60's. The 40 is missing the hood & whatever he used for taillights. The 49 Merc has lots of mods & swapped parts. They are survivors & I am happy to be their caretaker now. I will post a few others he built.
  15. I like this picture of my custom 1956 Ford Victoria.
  16. I like what you did to your Odyssey. I have one of those that I built in the 80's. It is hauled on a Chevy Luv. That Dodge will be a nice hauler for yours. Keep us posted. Brad
  17. Nice looking build!
  18. Surprised the hood opens with so much rust. Nice build! I like it!
  19. Nice build replicating your dads Blazer. Looks like your dad's was a 72 since it has a windshield mounted mirror.
  20. I have seen online that both the Perkins & Cummins diesel engines were used.
  21. Love seeing everyone's older builds! Jim, That Streaker Vette is wild. Do you have any straight on pics of the nose & rear?
