I agree with ya.I have learned alot by first seeing how and whats others felt and thought....experienced using products or techniques.I would like to hear others views on there thoughts and experiences with this glue . I've thought about using it myself.then when you do use a product or technique then learn more for yourself.but its nice to learn from others before jumping in.thank you
  2. That would be difficult, but ERTL's IH F 4270 I love it and have built many already.

For its about all of the reasons others have stated, but also learn some about biulding,it's a different skill set from getting it apart,to fixing what is broken to whats missing.and making it better then was,from paint,glue,clear parts and gives you a change to learn so much! I love rebuilding kit and parts.but love building a fresh kit as well.

You know I suspect that at some point it will be like going to kinko's and bring you tablet, laptop or phone or maybe a tumb drive then plug it in and and let the printer make it.then pay them when it is done.you would not have to own a expensive machines.but we are a little ways away from that now
  7. I hve question, can this or any of the different versions of yhis kit be made into the real heavy truck not hot rod type build.I want to build a real ton or bigger type truck out of it and does the cab and frame look right?.....Thanks for all help.

I'm wanting to build the green older paint scheme.that consolidated freightways used back then.as a kid I use to watch them at the weigh station in willard ut.there was so many trucks in thosr days.I was in love just watching pull through the weigh station.I ha:e decals for the CF but lack the pictures to start it,also want the PIE decals but don't know where to find them.

Thank you ,I'm working a different GM frames from 70 thru 96,I'm going to build 2 and 4 wheel but need the pix to go farther.I look on yahoo but it just wanted to show parts,when I needed stock type pictures as I get going farther I'll post what I'm doing.maybe I'm just not making the seach definded enouch.....I don't know.I'll keep trying and Thank you all for the help......Chris
  13. Yes I know the frame and body style changed,but looking for many frame changes for different builds.Im doing mods to the frames and needed to know before I proceed.I'mthankful for the help.
  14. I know your all talking about Ford trucks,but I'm working on a Chevrolet pickup and you shown a link to Ford drawings,do you or anyone else know of one for Chevrolet or GMC pickup frames? Thank you,Chris

  16. Looks great! !. I hear that with MPC there chassis plates are...not good. I do not like that the most. What are you going to do about the chassis plate?

I have heard those things before.I joined here cause I want to see others work, not to be a judge.and to learn from others.if someone says something I need to work on, that is great, but if someone is throwing stones to throw stones then that is not good. We all should not be like making drama, but be supportive of each other. This is art, we mite not enjoy a subject matter that someone else has done, but that don't mean others don't. I just enjoy there art work....art is fun.

  19. I as well would love to get my hands on a 70 Charger. I was told that the MPC version _as the only one to get.I know I like that one the best.
  20. I would love see Round2 kit a 1973 or 74 Chevrolet Nova.and any make and year of a diesel 1 ton pickup, by sides the Ford that is out now.we need 1 tons and diesel powered.

  22. Awhole different skill set rebuilding old models.I enjoy it but there are parts about it that are challenging. I use a razor saw and a 11 blade to mostly get them apart.people here can help you with ways...ideas I mean.
  23. I would like to hear from anyone on the rims of the L 700.they look outofscale to me....does anyone else feel that way.Im going to replace rims and tires.love the tanker.

Great news to hear.I would love to see the Ironsides van, but want to build the 4x4 version first.I had a big truck version when I was 13 years old . can't remember, but I believe it was Revell.it was a larger scale custom van.it had asm chevrolet in it.but it was fun.would love to see it out again.
