  1. ok, so i think i have lurked on your thread long enough.. this is a fantastic build. i looked at the previews to the movie and well, lets say that im going to have to buy it. looks like a great movie. the attention to detail is fantastic. im looking forward to some more of this fantastic progress.
  2. i think it looks good height/tall wise. its the length that doesnt look right. i say shorten the length about 1/8" to 3/16". just my 2 cents.
  3. hey mike, it's looking great and the story seems to be coming to an end as well.
  4. these are pretty cool looking cars. looks promising. looking forward to your progress
  5. well josh, i wish i could see the pics??
  6. haha, it sure can pass as the real think. great looking camaro's guys. i like all of them
  7. sweet looking highboy. i like the last pic. if it had the tires with wrinkles in them, it would play the part.

  12. looks sweet bro. i like the color a lot.
  13. wow, that paint job came out pretty good for it being brushed on. i have only seen a very few that can pull it off. very nice work.
  14. hey bud, great work on your restomod 6-duece. love where its going and that LS looks right at home.
  15. hey darren, truck is coming along nice. i like the suicied doors. nice touch. looking forward to some more updates. oh and i too know what you mean on starting so many projects..i just get a kick from it.
  16. thanks guys, I am trying to go with something that factory would have gone with. so i do a lot of thinking before i stick to anything. kanedge, the wheels are aoshima. BBS LM 20" the barrels are 2 barrels put together to get the idea of what i want. i need to figure out how to make them like this and find some slicks for it as well. i might have found some, but need to buy them first. update anyone. it's a small one. but like i said, im trying to carefully think of what to do with out having to do things over. thanks for looking
  17. looking good guys. well i spent a couple of hours scrapping and digging the molded in exhaust on the chassis. i really dont like that aoshima did this. and i started shapping the front fenders like the ones on box art. the ones in the kit are based of the new design thats being used.
  18. nice, i like where this is going already. great work on seperating the engine and trans.
  19. no prob on the advice. i too went to walmart lately and saw thes two primers and held off on buying them. now that your testing it out, im going to wait and see. tamiya laquers are plastic safe. i use to spray them straight to the plastics with no ill effect. if sprayed in thin layers, it comes out great. the color i have problems with was the chrome yellow. was a bit runny even with thin layers. but if sprayed with a primer base, it's good. the intake looks good. the decals are a good idea.
  20. well, i wanted to get a bit more done before showing it on here. it's a tamiya 360 kit for a group build on SPC forum. i dont know why i just can leave the plastic alone! i need to stop the madness in my head. lols anyways, i wanted something a bit extreme. i googled and googled and did not find any wide body 360's. so i wondered what it would look like if there was one. and this is what i started coming up with. enjoy
  21. hey bud, it came out great for it being your second build. foiling is a PITA the first times around. only advice i can give is to be patient. developing skills takes time. some more than others, but take your time cause that's all we really have to get better.

    70 celica

thanks everyone for the comments. i greatly appreciate them. adam144, the wheels are from aoshima. need to get some more, but are always out of stock. cotto, i did scribe in the panel lines deeper. the lighting just made it look as if i didnt, also i im not brave enought to do the wash on them. not yet atleast. kanedge, i try my best with photos. im still learning how to use my camera and have been playing with all the features to get the best results. i have come to learn that it's all about lighting. using flash takes away details and or makes it too bright. again, thank you everyone for looking and commenting.
  23. hey peter, good to finally see a build of yours on here. looking pretty good so far. keep it up bro.
  24. you actually spoke for me. i too think it's awesome!
  25. thanks guys. i appreciate the comments. it sits in the under glass section. probably a few pages back now. theres the link under the blurry pic. the kit is an actual 1970 celica by hasegawa. not modded ke70 kit. thanks again.
