  1. fabulous job
  2. those are some amazing looking nascars
  3. Looks good
  4. I've also done a tribute model to a passed family member. They are just the little bit more special. This is a nice model and a good story too.
  5. nice model, shiny. nicely photographed too.
  6. Looks good. The weathering makes this pop. There is an EK Holden sedan on the market, but considering it's cost, you were better off with the Chevies. the EK is a bit smaller than the chev, but not enough to make a real difference (like the difference between 1/24 and 1/25 scales).
  7. Interceptor (max's car) is from 'the parts box' and is their Police XB kit. the Pursuit is the planetX resin kit, which i modified the nose and changed the rims for more accuracy. since i'm reviving an old thread, here's some more police model cars Jumanji Super Troopers Speed Trap
  8. As nice as the original zztop is, this has an undefined coolness.
  9. You had a good year by the looks of it. They are some fabulous models
  10. well done. now it just needs a barn to rest in
  11. holy smokes that's a smooth paintwork. it looks like water. awesome details too.
  12. sigh, this is the 'ugly taurus' all over again (this one they DID kill with fire)
  13. "The Circuit Wolf is a shõnen adventure and racing manga published in Japan as Circuit no Õkami . It was serialized in Weekly Shõnen Jump from January 1975 to June 1979." so, pretty old. i'm guessing he's the 'BAD' guy, after all, he drives a Porsche. surprisingly, this is the ONLY thread i could find complaining about the swastika. you'd think the internet howlers would be in full force over this, doubly so since it's a toy (like it or not, model cars ARE considered toys to everyone who doesn't build them for a hobby).
  14. Nice Leglessly. i haven't seen many of these built. good job.
  15. cool, lights always add an extra dimension to any model. it's a pity there's no 1:24 sprinter kit, as there's some good potential in one. I also made a sprinter toy into a model vehicle, but from a 1:43 one, at least 1:10 gives you room to add all sorts of detail.
  16. i'm not sure what i think is best, your modelling skill or your photography skills. that thunderbird is awesome
  17. It's a cool story. I've heard that the challenger itself was returned to Dodge and has never been identified since.
  18. apparently Enzo Ferrari was so incensed that they used a replica Ferrari, that he sent them real ones to use in the show.
  19. Yep, this is no different to when they got in Barris and Daniels to lend their names to kits. If Foose and Friedhamburger appeals to kids, who are we to complain if it allows the industry to survive? Thanks for being the voice of reason. Some seem to go off when a product is not precisely aimed at them. oh, and i should add my use of West Coast Customs: WCC built Expendables F100 and Paris Hilton's Barbie Bentley.
  20. it looks good. don't see many of these built
  21. Yes, it looks spot on. well done adam.
  22. not your best? really? looks fine to me. other than needing polish to shiny up the paint, it looks spot on.
  23. nice work. the mud splatter makes it look at home in the dirt the airbrush is a good way to apply subtle weathering like dust. get some airbrushable brown paints and go to town. eg http://s1307.photobucket.com/user/aussiemuscle308/media/Model Cars/KLF/fordtimelord014_zps2442b1e9.jpg.html
  24. magnificent is definitely the right description. well done
