  1. Nice Mustang. are you not happy with how it turned out? i can understand why, mine's "Octane" orange
  2. nice!
  3. top notch!!
  4. cool. that's some impressive decal work
  5. I don't think he was talking about hot rods **cough**dukes**hazzard**cough**
  6. I'd like to encourage you to take another stab at getting the green a bit closer. it'd totally be worth a bit of effort to replicate your rather striking Laguna. also some bare metal foil to chrome up the wheel arches. The resin cars look fab.
  7. real car guys do it all the time. buying an old junker to rebuild. It can be cheaper than buying a new kit, especially if the builder has got frustrated and wants to get rid of it.
  8. You can reuse it, but you'll find it gets less and less able to strip paint. you can't use it for anything else, so you might as well try using it again.
  9. I like it. some subtle touches work nicely
  10. Nice set. and all well built. i'm kinda glad you didn't do them all the same blue/turquoise. makes it a more interesting photo.
  11. nice charger. interior looks good. have you considered trying a polishing kit? black always seems to need it.
  12. not 5, more like 16 (my scale only goes to 14 pounds) the red ones are sold out, so you'd have to get white or blue http://www.iconmodels.com.au Sledsel, the engine is still available separately, but is $100AUD.
  13. I get that. thepartsbox is a small australian supplier that fills a niche of few australian-built cars in 1/25 scale. someone was bashing their work as 'complete BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH' when it was actually issue with just one or two body lines. i pointed out that it was only out by half a mm, but that didn't seem to matter to him. true, but getting things like the basic dimensions and shape should be a priority, like the issues pointed out with the revell 74 torino with the wonky sized roof/side-window. (any word if they fixed that?)
  14. i like it. a real mainstreamer. a shame you couldn't squeeze the wheels in further. maybe you can get back to it one day and modify the suspension or wheel backs. it'd look better with the inside of the rim's lip filed thinner so it sits deeper in the tire.

    64 Dodge

    wow, that's fabulous
  16. looks good in white
  17. Looks good
  18. Unlikely as not only were the molds, etc outsourced, so were the jobs. with no one to employ that can do the job in usa, they simply can't. They just better hope the Chinese govt doesn't step in and nationalize their equipment, like has happened to a few other toy companies.
  19. downloaded off the net (it's paper) http://randyfivesix.deviantart.com/art/Johnny-Five-REvised-pt-01-170753986
  20. nice. different to have the box blended with the tray
  21. Nice Toyotas. It was worth re-photographing them together. The guys i worked with called them Gutlux, because they lacked power (gutless).
