  1. nice clean build. unusual to see one NOT black, and the met blue suits it.
  2. awesome. you did well to capture it's used and abused look. i had a blast doing replicas of my own cars, so i hope you had fun. ah, if only slow vehicles would keep right.. .(re: your front plate).
  3. sweet... I love the understated look of the copo (sleeper). awesome color choice.
  4. nice builds. top notch paint on them, for sure.
  5. awesome looking race cars
  6. If you're only building three a year, at least they are fabulous looking builds. I particularly like the trans-am.
  7. This is Mrs Oregon from 'Graveyard Cars'. it's made of pressed aluminium panels on a plastic kit chassis.
  8. Looks good. you'll have to photo them all together like they are racing!
  9. very meaty! some seriously nice builds there
  10. you can see the glass under the front wheel. nice score. you going to rebuild them?
  11. very nice
  12. i was watching a show called 'Wheeler Dealers' the other day and Edd was applying flocking with an applicator that had a negative charge system so the flocking particles would stick to the plastic AND land in the same arrangement.
  13. i use the photobucket 'share' IMG code, which i then paste here (ctrl+v)
  14. Since vans and customizing was HOT in the 70s, doing a few van kits was a no-brainer. it would be like doing drift cars today.
  15. No, you're just the only one willing to speak his mind. I held back because i didn't think it was warranted unless someone came out with incorrect information. i agree he was a bit vague when claiming he 'built' a certain tv show car (often 'built' as in built-a-replica) but i think most of it was shoddy reporters and 'heard it, regurgitated it*' people who didn't know better. He didn't design or build the Monkeymobile or the Green Hornet's black beauty.
  16. nicely done. i like the subtle weathering
  17. Nice Ford there Ron. how long ago did you build it?
  18. awesome model. paint and detail is top notch
  19. Fabulous time machine build Mr fusion is made from a coffee grinder. you can also see one in Alien (part of the ship wall equipment).
  20. Looks good. a lot of nice detail in there too.
  21. holy smokes, what a transformation!
  22. fabulous build. it reminds me of the one in Gone in 60 seconds movie.
  23. The train is a bachmann G scale 4-6-0 train, with scratchbuilt smoke stack. at some point i have to widen it's track so it matches the Delorean (which is quite a bit wider). and Doc is off ebay (it's listed by a generic name, like 'the professor' or something).
  24. A lot of wives need to get a hobby. it's easier to get a display case in the living room if it's shared. That or some guys need to 'grow a pair'.
  25. Looks good. Is it like a circa 2000 model?
