  1. I'm sure you can fix it now, if you've been practicing my worst build? depends what you mean by 'worst' this is probably the most damaged model i've built, but it was done like that on purpose to replicate MRS Oregon from Graveyard Cars. but this is probably my least favorite build. it was a real 'throw it together' project. i need to get in and detail that engine.
  2. it looks ridiculous, but you've done an another excellent model. love the detail you've put into it.
  3. "Follow the White Rabbit". Cool model, well done
  4. Holy cow, nearly identical to the firebird i used to own. I was an 88. everyone should make a model of cars they have owned. and yes i did mine http://i1307.photobucket.com/albums/s581/aussiemuscle308/Model%20Cars/Kevs%20Cars%20Models/pontiac15_zpswl2ad5b6.jpg
  5. looks good. extra points for such a small scale car.
  6. excellent work, as usual.
  7. Need for Speed 2's best car! wait, you opened the doors on the model but DIDN'T post any pics in the open position?
  8. When i built the Futura, i assembled the body and then cut out the chassis to make it a separate piece. This allowed me to do the interior, etc separately after i'd blended the body parts together.
  9. i like this. you can totally blend in with the crowd in one of those.
  10. I like it, sort of used and abused look i'd expect of a police vehicle. 6 kits? holy cow. what did that set you back. it might have been cheaper to learn casting and make your own copies!
  11. Same here... since the only 1/25 scale W123 i've found is the "Brabus" version, which is a very simple toy kit. I have that kit (since it is 1/24) and it's quite good, only missing the inner door detail, which is odd since it's visible. I rounded the headlight surround. the gun ended up in my GTO
  12. That's some fabulous detail work. makes me think why you stick with kit parts, when you're basically re-building those parts entirely.
  13. awesome start. i'll be following so i have something to refer back to.
  14. looks like a worthy project and good to see your progress so far. I've found when disassembling diecasts, a drill is a useful tool for removing the metal rivets/pressovers. you can superglue them back in and just use the rivet's pin as a locator. it's worthwhile taking photos during disassembly to provide a reference for the reverse.
  15. holy smokes, that's awesome! Aye
  16. I doubt the instruction booklet costs more than 50 cents per kit. compared to the cost of licensing and tooling, it's a minor component.
  17. Actually, it's the Polar lights kit, which Round 2 now owns. the Aoshima version is different (available from AMT as BTTF#2) it has a different (non-delorean) chassis. Nicely done Drake. it's nice to see one with good details.
  18. Model from the TV show 'West Coast Customs' about a car customising shop in LA. This is Paris Hilton's 'Barbie' Bentley Continental. This started as a welly diecast in 1/24 scale in pearl white. i stripped it down and repainted it in custom pink with my airbrush. It was then reassembled and i added bare metal foil to detail it out.
  19. i was expecting a pimped out french car, so neither of us got what we expected. at least it's a darn good improvement.
  20. looks cool
  21. In the movie, Sean looses his car, so uses his dad's mustang shell and his silvia engine to create this drift racer. AMT's old 67 mustang is a nicely molded kit, but the fit issues are substantially bad. The rims were way oversized and incorrect, so it's now running viper rims and tires. I painted the stripes rather than using the decals. other than that. it's all box stock. It's pictured with my DK's nissan.
