At the Heartland Nationals show two weekends ago that same exact kit sealed sold for $50. I highly doubt anyone will bite on it till the price drops to 100 or less. The collectors might start coming outat 150 but most collectors already have the Snake and Mongoose kits because they had very high first runs. As a builder Why buy that when you can get the double kit for so cheap?

Same here. I would like some. -
First off. I think you might be a bit confused as to what type of model cars this forum is for. MCM is a plastic model car forum not an RC forum. If you are looking for RC car forums I would use RC tech RC Universe and many many others. As for your question. Yes you will need a new E.S.C. but many manufactures sell motor/E.S.C. combos so will get the correct E.S.C. for your motor. YOu will also need a Lipo battery pack and you will be constantly replacing parts till you can get a hang of the new power and speed. I am not going to tell you which companies make the best because it's so subjective. Go on some of the RC forums and see what others are using and by all means talk to the guys at your local RC shop. You won't get any better info than directly from them.

As for widening the bed I was thinking about just making some custom step fenders. Since that will also solve the how do you get down from this issue the wedge has. Another question. Would the roof of the Titan be strong enough to hold a winch while in operation or would it pull up? Think 2250-2500 pound race car on the other end. -

Did you find any information on what those vehicles are for on the site where you found the photos? -

Thanks guys. I never knew semi trucks used under chassis exhaust. I thought they did the stack exhaust because it was some sort of law or something. Is their a reason stack exhaust is the common way to do it? -

Guys, I have another question. Where would you put the exhaust stack? I can't leave it in it's stock position because it would be blowing the exhaust right back onto the race car. I was thinking the only other way would be to have it dump under the truck but I don't know if that is even remotely realistic. -

I forgot to mention how I do mine. I have a spread sheet and photos to back it up. About 5 years ago I lost an entire 2000+ MTG card collection that the insurance company only gave me 10 cents a card for. The collection was actually worth close to 7 grand but I couldn't prove I had the cards I said I did. Since then I have taken photos of EVERYTHING that comes in my house that isn't food or disposable. When my girlfriend and I moved in together she hated it but when a pipe leaked in our house and ruined some of here yarn she realized the difference it makes when dealing with insurance people. Instead of 2 dollars a skeen (ball of yarn) they wound up giving here full value of what she had because she could prove what she had and could prove it's actually value not just assumed value. Keeping a inventory for yourself and to make trades easier is great on a spreadsheet but when dealing with insurance companies you need photos to back up what you say you have. Believe me it sucks to know they will only give you 10 bucks for something that is work 100 or more because you can't actually prove you owned what is on your list.

Guys don't forget about radio Le Mans. They have all sorts of coverage we don't even hear about on their website. I listen to radio Le Mans while watching the race and you get so much more information than from Speeds coverage. radiolemans.com

A standard set of rules would be great but it will never happen. No two clubs/events are the same so you won't ever find them all using the same rules. Not even all the I.P.M.S clubs agree on the rules so even when you do have a "standard" set of rules they are changed to meet the particular clubs needs/wishes/etc.

That looks cool. You should put it back on the table. The sleeper is part of what made me really consider the idea. -
Honestly that is the best way to do it for insurance purposes. Granted it doesn't make it easy to quickly look through everything if it was on paper but an insurance company will just laugh at you when you had them a big printed out spreadsheet of kits you supposedly own.

Thanks guys. All of your comments really have me thinking. If you haven't guessed it I am not trying to make some awesome fantasy hauler but a sort of "this is what I had and I made due type thing". The single drive axle is a really awesome idea. I could even use the extra space for more storage area.
