  1. Really nice job,,cool year bowtie to do
  2. Thanks Dave,,I would have used the Halibrands that were kit supplied,,but it would have been alot of x-tra messin around to get them to look good,,so I just grabbed some "left over parts bx" rims for the front,,and actually the Cragars look good on it as well. Thanks for looking,,,S {Note to self: I just noticed my "chapman" decal on drivers front,,the N is messed up,,Ill have to fix that}
  3. Amazing! 2 of the most wild cars the blue oval ever produced,,great job!
  4. This will be a awsome trike,,looking forward to seeing this one done!
  5. Thanks Dave,,its not the BX stock build I was hoping for,,had to dremmel out blower scoop area also to make room for x-tras,,linkages,,ect. But looks ok,,Ive had this kit for over 2 yrs and finally got to get it done recently. Thanks so much,,S
  6. Hi all,,I finished the Malco car this week,,had a bit of prob w/front tilt setup,so just made it removable. It turned out ok. Also revised the interior to a single seat setup,,changed the back slicks,,and the front rims to cragers,,the stock front rims had too much sink spots,,egde of rim flashing ect. Different roll bar,added some x-tra gauges,and the rear wheelie bar set up was bizzare. Theres holes in lower valance for the bars,,but they dont line up w/the wheelie bar assembly,,but the rear bumper had 2 premolded "holes" that did line up to the wheelie bar assy. But no holes in rear for them,,had to drill those out. All in all,,nice kit to have,,but did have to change a few things. Some may have had better luck w/all these things,,it is what it is. Enjoy all the works in here,,keep rockin! S
  7. G'morn to all,,Just finished the AMT 1994 release of The Dodge Viper,,box stock,except for the rear tires + rims. Great kit ,,went together well. Enjoy all the works posted here @ MCM!!
  8. Why thank you sir,,,yea I wish I could have got a new kit w/all the parts in it,,but it is what it is. Post a pic of yours here,,Id like to see it. Thanks again.
  9. too cool,,that outta fly!
  10. Wow,,been seeing some great stuff on here today,,{not refering to mine as much} Anyways,,I dig the NNL shows here in SE Mich. I was at last one DAMM show,,and its cool the stuff you find in ziplock bags for 3-5$,,1/2 started glueblobs of beauty. This was such a case,,its supposed to be a turbo mtr,,and it came w/the turbo setup,but I like the reg mtr setup,,so modified that to reg carb setup,scratch built some side pipes,scratch built roll bar,did some minor wiring.plumbing in mtr bay. Painted w/testors quikdry enamel,,and flat sand interior. It didnt have the stock front grill in kit,so I got a grill from the spare parts bx,mounted behind air inlet in front grill area. All in all,it was worth the 5$. Just a hats off to MCM for adding my 1/12 67 Vette in your 2016 contest mag,,i grabbed 3 copies! Thanks so much,,S

  14. Thanks so much,,enjoy everyones builds in here,,soo many to learn from. Mine are ok,,but theres many much better, My band keeps me from doing model stuff as much as I like,,but get in when I can. Got a 1980 MPC 1/20th Z/28 Turbo 80' Camaro on the bench,,was a glue blob I got for 3$ at a recent NNL,,looking forward to doin that one soon, Thanks for looking,,,all the best. S
  15. neat,,I wish I had all my ol" Schwinn Stingrays from back in the day,,I had a whole garage full,,some modified choppers! There worth alot $$ these days.
  16. I dig these style kits,,dont have worry bout wiring,,plumbing,,ect. yours looks great. Ive been looking for this @ LHS,,,havent seen it recently
  17. looks great even as a curb build
  18. Looks great,,nice color
  19. Hi all,,I know,,I know ,,there was a recent post of this awhile back,,of which it was a beautiful build{white color w/flames },,cant remember who posted it,,it is a great version though. At any rate,,this kit had to be modified as far as body panels so it could be displayed w/front section on and off. I also changed out the rear tires+rims .Added scratch built wheelie bar set at rear. And added some minor wiring,,linkage,plumbing. ,, a stripe down center of bodywork.,,different headers. Cool kit ,,but had to clean alot of flashing before assembly+paint. All in all,,its a nice addition to the shelf,,thanks for looking. S.S.
  20. Thanks for the info,,Im considering switching to all Acrylic paints at some point,,might have better luck
