    Hi all,,I know,,I know ,,there was a recent post of this awhile back,,of which it was a beautiful build{white color w/flames },,cant remember who posted it,,it is a great version though. At any rate,,this kit had to be modified as far as body panels so it could be displayed w/front section on and off. I also changed out the rear tires+rims .Added scratch built wheelie bar set at rear. And added some minor wiring,,linkage,plumbing. ,, a stripe down center of bodywork.,,different headers. Cool kit ,,but had to clean alot of flashing before assembly+paint. All in all,,its a nice addition to the shelf,,thanks for looking. S.S.

    wow,,love it! I really like that 1:1 kawi scambler,,yours looks great! Wish I could find more large scale bike kits out there.

    I always have a DVD or VHs or youtube movie of some type of Motorsports while building,,seems to work for me.

    We pay for ALOT of things we shouldnt have to,,no need to go into ,,what,,where ,,how much ect,,ect..Im sure weve all questioned some or all of what we get taxed for. And thats all Im going to say about it.

    This may have been covered somewhere else,,couldnt find it. Anyways,,why does testors enamel bottle{small size} turn to a gel-like glob after a couple of months? I store them indoors,,away from direct sunlight,,so there not getting too hot,,and the weirdest thing is not all colors do this! Some I have Ive had for a year or so,,and there still fine{aside from having to add a bit of thinner to help flow better} I dont get it. Any ideas?

    Well I dont have EVERY one they put out,,quite a few though. Heres the CB 750 tamiya 1/12th,,I dont have the large scale 750{that would be nice!} The CB 750 tamiya went together without any hassles or modifications for fit. IMO Tamiya makes the most accurate kits for the $$$. Meaning ,not having to clean flash,,filing mating surfaces,alignment of assemblys,,ect,,ect. Ill toss a few more tamiyas Ive done in here just for the fun of it.

    Thanks so much,,yea I experimented with different angles of lights to get shadows{no pun intended "Honda Shadow" lol} behind the bike,,kind of neat effect. Thanks for looking

    Thanks,,I havent done the Mini 70 Trail bike yet,,the Tamiya 1/6 MX'r is going to be really cool,,I may post a build thread,,but it would take up alot of storage space in the forum,,so Ill see how it goes. The Rupp bike would be fun to do also. I have almost every Tamiya off road bike kit and many street bikes as well built +unbuilt.

    hey,,thats pretty wild,,I hear ya about doing "other" kits,,,,I like doing Sci-fi kits once in a while,,and military jets+planes,,,yours will great for sure.

    Thanks so much,,its tricky if your going to use both versions,,the biggest prob is the front 1/4 panels,it comes w/2 different styles,,and neither mated up cleanly to body edges,,thats why I just used 1 version,,glued panels in,,putty,,,sanded,,,ect to get front to look decent. And the 2 panels didnt really have alot of difference to them for the most part. One had more frontward placement for wheelwell than the other,,thats it. Good luck on yours!
