Thanks you guys,,as Ive said before,,you guys have great stuff on here also,,just wanted to mention. Anyways,,its almost done,,I was going to posta few more pics,,but its so close to being done,,Ill wait. All the decals+ ect are on,,I did have a prob w/the rear stripe decal,,even though I clear coated decals on the sheet before applying,,the rear stripe cracked a bit on the 90 degree bends{at top of rear qtr pnl//trk deck} so had to battle that for a few x-tra hrs just to get it acceptable. I should have used some decal softener b4,,but oh well itll be alright. BTW,,,THANK YOU MCM FOR CONDENSING THIS POST WITH THE OTHER OLDER POST,, its alot easier to look thru,,and makes more sense when I look at it. Now just have to do the wheelie bars,,chute,,and THE WING!! I love "THE WING" I added an x-tra blade in the middle of the wing,,it looks pretty cool,,and if it were ever added to a 1:1 car/wing,,it would increase downforce quite alot. You could even make the 2nd wing adjustable to really tweek the downforce. Anyways,,thanks for all the kind comments,,and happy Building!

Dr Porsche would be proud,,nice job! -
Thanks DR,,yea i try to "make" fuel meter blks,,injector feed rails,,linkage throttle stuff, and whatever the rig might need, from the junk bx. I should do a post on how to "make' some of this stuff but dont want to overload the board, someday Ill spend a bit of $$ for some "real" components,,I made the dash from the stock dash,,just cut it to the width of the driver area,,the front axle is from the jnk bx,,but the shock tower setup is from the Willy borch AA/FA kit,,as is the driver section of roll cage,,the rest is my design. Scratch built entire front clip/mtr bay area. I know thats more info than needed,,but some may wonder how some of it was done. Thanks again,,happy building

alternative A/N fittings?
skymnky721 replied to shift13's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I use small 3/32nd wide rubber tubing,,and connect stuff that way,,I hear ya about the $$ for stuff. Ive also seen folks make fittings out of hex rod stock,,cut small pcs,,file/sand/paint. Ive never tried that yet. -
Thanks so much

Why thanks you guys,,I enjoy your and everybodys stuff here. If i had the $$ Id do this 1:1,,minus the hemi,,or do a stronger frame. A 351 Windsor would work,,better milage anyways, lol Thanks for visiting

Thanks slusher,,just a mention,,you all have some great builds also,,and if it seems like Im not commenting on everybodys builds its only because Im at my bench workin things up,,not trying to ignore others. I was trying to find a flat top Charger daytona FC of some type that a model kit co has produced,,at any time,,just to see whats out there,,I know of some resin body co's that have a few flat top FC IE Beach city vette,,a dart flatop,,but I couldnt find anything like a Daytona Flatop car. I saw a 1:1 car called the "Nitro-charger",,and a "Superbird" pro-mod car,,but not much else. Im surprised,,if anyone knows of such a creature,,feel free to post a pic in this thread,,Id like to see it,,thanks again you all,,happy building!

Great job,,looks better than my builds from back then,,lol

Thanks DR K,,yea if I had $$ for aftermarket fittings,,braided lines,,Photo etched parts ect it would be a bit better,,but all this is from the junk parts bx. And its the first time Ive cut a front end for a tilt,,but it will work,,Ive already got the swivels set up for the body lifts/tilts. It should turn out ok,,thanks for the views+ comments. Happy building
