Thanks guys,,I tried to delete the 1st post about this that I put up a few weeks ago,,so Im not taking too much data space on the board but couldnt figure out how. I was looking at the "Dutchman" FC,,what a wild car he built,,it probably handled like a rock when going down the 1320,,he also did one that looks alot like a vette,,he called it the "Charger III" which there is a kit of,,Ive never got a chance to purchase one,,but its out there. I got the lettering sheet a few days ago for the name + graphics on the side,,and doing the plumbing+ wiring over the next few days,,and then on to the cockpit controls+ pedals ect,,ect. Thanks for the comments,,enjoy all of you guys builds also,,Cheers!

Hi all,,Just an update post,I posted it a few weeks ago,,but its coming along a ways,,and thought a new view might be cool. It started as a Experimental late 60's-early 70's FC,,and it somehow evolved into a "flat-topper" flopper. Much like the "Flying Dutchman" car of the era. Odd cars,,but kindof neat to have a model of one,,not sure if there were any kits made of this type. Got all the tilt nose set-up,,as the rear half of body will lift up like a reg FC. Those were the big ones to figure out,,once all that is worked up,,the rest is a breeze. So,,thanks for lookin,,and keep up the great stuff youall got out there.

I use cloth band-aids,,and electrical tape,,its a bit challenging to do but works well,,and cost effective.

Removing a stubborn decal

Ive used "Easy-Off" oven cleaner{yellow can, original formula} for yrs to strip old glue blobs cars/paint jobs,,in fact Ive used it on re-builds that were painted 20 yrs ago and longer and it worked. It may take 2-3 times or more to get it off,,but it will sooner or later. -
Wow,,that would have been fun,,I gotta do it someday,,I heard about it a few yrs ago,,and its always been in the back of my mind ever since. Ill have to wait a month or so,,till all the snow+ice melts thats for sure.

OMG!! Love that one,,great Idea to have it posing in the wheelie! Too cool

OOOHHH YEAAA!! Im with ya on that one,,or better yet,,how bout ,,"The tail of the dragon" That stretch of road down in tenn/virgina HGY 127 I believe ,,its called Deals Gap,, over 311 hairpin turns in only 11 miles or so,,whew! Google that one and look about the "unregistered Races" they have there,,scary place,,but man all those hairpins!

really great job,,I think they wanted the mirror clear orange,,as to color mark the car,,as they do in real racing cars so the pit crews+ spotters can tell where which driver/car it is from a distance while its on the track,,I think.
