An oldie' but a goodie,,,MPC's 1/16th "Street Charger" Awsome kit to do,,had to modify very few things other than the "minor mods" I had in mind. Was going to clearcoat it,,but it looked kindof neat semi-gloss after a couple coats. Keep up the great stuff out there!

That'll be a nice kit when you get a mtr for it. May I suggest a Hillborn injected 426 Hemi? With really tall injector stack tubes?

Wow,,great job,,cool color use on this,,I love building bikes,,cant get enough of them really,,I wish the co's would re-pop all the older bikes from the 60's 70's,,1/8...1/16th. Tamiya has a 1/6th Yamaha YZ 250 MXr Id like to get,,but its 130$ +,,,ouch! But the quality would be worth it I guess. Nice job on yours

Real or Model #227 FINISHED!
skymnky721 replied to Harry P.'s topic in Real or Model? / Auto ID Quiz
Thats a tough one,,the shadow on the ground looks like real ,,but no sand on tires,,,,hummm,,but the reflection of the sun on the windshield does line up pretty closely to the shadow below,,so Im gonna guess ,,real truck. -
Beautiful! Thats a a nice shade of red for that. Works well

Why thanks folks,,you all have some great stuff in here as well. Yea,@ unclescott58,I was going to use the stock windows ,,but I wanted to be able to see the chassis easier when the body was down. My Mom was a school teacher for some 35+yrs,,and some of the kids she had to deal with were rather "challenging" to say the least. I was some what rowdy myself,,me and my buddy who had a home built go-kart,,and me on my Hodaka Ace 100 dirt bike would race on the HS football fields,,and baseball diamonds when school was out in the afternoons! We even got chased by the local sheriff once in a awile LOL {Im a bit mellower these days}I guess we all have to grow up at some point. I also re-did the body support rods,,due to the stock ones would have not been able to lift w/the fuel lines in the way. I dig Tom Daniels designs,,I recently also got the "Cherry Bomb" kit,,thats gonna be a fun too. Thanks all for the kind words,,keep up the great works!

Happy labor day,,I was at the LHS today,,and wow,,AMT is kickin out some really great kits,,as is Revell also,,but one caught my eye right off the bat,,the 78' Ford F-100 "Superstones" PU,,,and it was the only one on the shelf! Nows its at my house,,all safe and sound. Theres about another 6-7 kits I wanted to get but didnt have $$ just now,,but I opened this kit,,and its really nice,,little to no flashing on all the parts, great looking decals,,ect,,,gonna finish my 1/16th MPC "Streetcharger" Dodge Charger,,and the 78' Ford is next,,thanks AMT/Revell for crankin out many of the re-pops from yrs ago,,way cool! Happy Building!

Hi all,,its that time of year,,back to school,,,when I was in school,,I always wanted to go on a bus like this. Used notebook liner from the dollar store for the windows,,added a bit of wiring/plumbing. Kit went together well. Thanks for looking.
