  3. Not too much of a Ferrari fan, but this model looks just fantastic! And the pint is just gorgeous
  4. The weathering on this model is just superb! And great work on the modification!
  5. Love the model, but the weathering doesn't seem too convincing. The brush strokes are too evident. I believe you can still fix this Think about the direction in which the streaks would appear on a car - top to botom, front to back, from wheels up and so on. Keep this in mind as you apply weathering to your model and results will be much better. Don't get me wrong - it still looks great, but there is still ground for your improvement Cheers! Damir
  6. Clean and gorgeous!! Love the meat on the back wheels
  7. I guess the separated hood is there for easier detailing - like painting it flat black or dressing it up in carbon fiber decals. Or rusting it out, in my case... I'm a rat-rod fan, but Silvias have always been some of the sexiest Japanese cars in my eyes. I like this kit and might even be buying it one day...
  8. A working steering system... On a model car... Just... Wow...
  9. Lovely! Will you leave the red lines on the front tyres?

  11. Great tip, Peter! I'm sure this will come handy at some point =)
  12. After seeing the show this was the first thing that crossed my mind - make a model of that car! Now I'm glad I didn't - I would never do it as fast and as good as you are doing it Really great work so far and I can't wait for the next update! Good luck with the rest of the project!

    Triumph TR2

    Nice, simple and well detailed!
  14. Thanx for the kind words of inspiration, guys!
  15. Thank you, John! The engine already has some dust and oil on it, but I won't over-do it, as it is under the hood, so the weather just can't reach it. I'll apply some dirt to the engine bay and so on, but it won't be in the same messed-up state as the exterior
  16. Progress part 2: Playing with oil paints.
  17. Progress, part 1: Playing with pigments.
  18. Thanx for the tip, Garry Been thinking: I remember some acrylics crack after I shot a layer of primer over them... Might try it again Had no time to work on anything, so I still have no results... :/
