  1. If I was mad at Harry for something, this is the thread I'd bring back.
  2. I wouldn't have believed it. I'm impressed. Still risky, but this might be my favorite so far.
  3. I considered a Geo Storm promo for about 10-seconds because I've got a couple and they're cheap as farts but knew I wouldn't get excited about it. A Johan 59 Rambler Wagon can be found at a fair price if you're patient.
  4. Just had to bring this thread back. Too cool for school!
  5. Please, you're undermining all my ideas! Aren't wagons wonderful?
  6. MINE TOO. An excellent reference. This was not my first choice, but over the holiday I picked up a Welly R8 Diecast on closeout and made some comparisons, then went online to research the 1:1's. There is only a 1.25-inch wheelbase difference between them and lots of room in the back to fit the mid-engine V-10. AWD bruthas!
  7. Hello boys! (Details to follow)
  8. I have 500-lbs. of National Geographics dating to 1948 that are taking up a big chunk of space. My friend got 100 years of issues, all the maps and special extra features on DVD. Is the value of grabbing a paper issue to thumb through worth the burden? Can't decide.
  9. I like Testosterosa better.
  10. That's a lot of work. Not just the scratch building but even opening all the hinges. Beautiful work.
  11. Its multi-functionality is the beauty of it. Wonder if that ever came up on Shark Tank?
  12. I'd just use clear acetate (plastic). The Smart has a fairly flat windshield so making new glass won't be too challenging. Just use some masking tape as a template, trace, trim and drop in. It will even look better than kit plastic.
  13. Good stuff Niko. My favorite's the '62.
  14. I have a collection of T-Bird wagon photos for reference because I love that look and yours is as good as I've seen. Splendid blending of the Mustang elements. I really like this.
  15. This is sooooo slick. Superb craftsmanship in every detail.
  16. Wonderful. Looks like you really got the look right.
  17. My PT Cruiser, like all PTs, was built in Mexico. Even if you say it depends on what country of origin the profits are going still won't clarify anything. If Toyota is creating 10-Thousand-plus American jobs, why boycott them? Should I not buy Chrysler because the PT's a Mexican car? People who are brand loyal because it's an "American" car are only proclaiming their own ignorance.
  18. Dude, my admiration for your work knows no bounds. That's some intense fitting, fiddling and smoothing. Sorry about the hood fit, but the execution is amazing.
  19. Hmm. This makes me rethink this whole kit. Mine's been half built for a decade too because I didn't like my choices but didn't know where to go with it. Nice work.
  20. Dave, Anything you post to this forum I consider a must-read. Your posts are always insightful, informative and appreciated. Thanks for the info, which I know took you a while to write for us.
  21. Slip into your nylon print shirt, corduroy pants and platform shoes, foof up the manfro and pop in an 8-track, cuz this ride's going to Funkytown. Every inch of this oozes the era. Fabulous work man.
