  1. Amt/MPC is releasing a 75 Dodge Demon sport. Nice build Cain...my Dad has a `73 Duster and a few 440`s in my garage right now.
  2. Very nice builds, but the Jim Yates firebird is my favorite....awesome work.
  3. Wow, glad you finished it and shared. I want to build one now.
  4. ^From the Testor's/Fujimi lineup from the mid 80's......I have two Porsche's and I wan't the Pantera. I love that you added the engine, nice work.
  5. Look's just like the crawler's they build around here, I know four or more have said it ,but I thought the first picture was the 1:1 and you were buiulding a scaled version of it....impressive and cool subject.
  6. Those both look really nice.
  7. Haha now that was funny Dan. Need help posting picture's???? There is a tutorial on here or anyone would be happy to help. That's my favorite import truck body of all time so I would like to see this one.
  8. This look's really cool, I like the green and agree the decal's just don't work. To answer your question you can certainly spray Tamiya clear yellow through a air brush as long as you thin it correctly. If you are using it for tinting the windows I recommend looking into Alclad's clear yellow...it is pre thinned and shoot's straight out of the bottle. Keep up the great work.
  9. That is a really nice paint job, curious is that metallic silver bordering the red or bare metal foil? I have never seen slot drag's run(in person), I bet one time and I would be hooked.
  10. I got hung up on the flip nose and I need to find someone to make decal's. I did source wheel's and a engine, thank's for the intrest...can't wait to get back at it.
  11. Thanks Randy that is really cool.
  12. Wow it just baffle's me that 40 year's ago you built that model, the detail is top notch even to this day. Put's my 29 year old butt right in place haha, very nice work and great that you kept it in such great condition. I like your other build's also.
  13. Glad to see this over here on the MCM forum's so more people can enjoy seeing it. Without seeing the work in progress photo's you guy's have no idea how awesome this really is. I know that it was built for you Michael ,but it's really cool that you felt it belonged to the builder and sent it back home. Amazing work Bill.
  14. Whoa I like them all ,but the #89 is just awesome looking. I was always a straight line guy, but I got turned on to the dirt scene and watching these guy's sling these car's around the oval is just plain wicked. I have a Late Model project on the bench currently that I hope someday to complete. Curious about the picture in the background...do you know where that is and what year??
  15. I love me some sprint car's, fellow member JustBill got me hooked on them and I built one last year. You did a nice job on it and like Bruce and Bill I use Photobucket with no issues for free. Be sure to share the current WIP once you get the photo sharing sorted.
  16. Oh my awesome, John your collection amazes me.
  17. Darryl it came out amazing, very cool replica of a a very cool car.
  18. I have never been a big "show rod" guy myself ,but you do a really nice job on them..it look's awesome. Boban your intro sound's like it could have very well been printed on the box in the 70's...great work and description.
  19. Those guys get at it, thanks Dave
  20. Wow that came out perfect, the tow vehicle is nice as well. For those asking about the boat here is a link to the build thread http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77859
  21. Amazing work on this build, the realism and weathering make this look like the real thing.
  22. That looks awesome, your builds come together so nice.
  23. Ohana is a term used in Hawaii that means family....not always in the blood sense ,but more in the we are all here on this board together enjoying the same hobby so we need to respect each other kind of sense. I believe 500 post is what makes you a Ohana....or "family", if you notice Mitch your title will change as you post more. This is a very typical thing on message boards to kind of show how much a person is on here posting ect. Keep detailing my friend, if you are having fun than its a good thing. There is always room for improvement...heck that is a huge reason I love this hobby so much. Just remember all the detail in the world don't cover the basics....seam lines, mold mark's...not using Bare metal Foil ect. Keep up the good work.
  24. That looks awesome, the stand is a nice touch.
