Those both look awesome, I may sound like a old man ,but I am going to have to agree with you on the current F1 car's being ugly. I encourage you to remove the glass and give the window trim a try, I think it will make that kit look even better.

Now I really want that kit, thanks Jonathan haha.

How could you not like that, looks pretty fun to build. You did a nice job on all the painting. -
That is awesome, it has the perfect look.

It is cool ,but the camera is focused on the box and not the model so its hard to see. The box art is wicked looking, I would buy it up just based on that. A white plain background will help the camera to not focus on all the stuff in the background and you probably need to play with your macro feature(looks like the flower off mario brothers).

Now that is wicked looking, very impressive work Norman.

WIP 84 Candies&Hughes funny car 1/24

Oh wow that turned better than I could have imagined. Do you have any pictures of the bottom of the body...look's like a lot of detail. Amazing work Mark, my jaw is still on the floor. -
This is my most recent build, it is a Tamiya 1/12 scale. I saw this kit online and loved the white on white so I picked it up at the local model show. As per Tamiya the molding was crisp and well detailed out of the box. I did drill out all 288 holes on the front rotors and added the clear fuel vent hose otherwise it is box stock. I used MM metalizer's on all engine and chassis part's. The body was painted with Pactra/testors Sprint White and cleared with Nason 2k automotive clear. It was a great kit ,but for some reason I had major issues with the Cartograph decal's. I have always heard such great thing's about Cartograph so I am sure it was my fault. They just seemed way to thick and did not react well to solveset. I let the kit sit for a few month's ,but decided to just finish it and move on. Thanks for looking.

Wow that thing is flashy and I like it. Those Agitator decal's look perfect on there, you did a nice job on this build.

Marcos you are hands down the best "box stock" builder I have ever seen. I love super detailing and all that jazz, but you really do show how well it can be done by mastering basic but crucial techniques and finding a system that works for you. I Always love your work Marcos and you do extremely good write ups in the magazine, thanks for sharing and contributing to the hobby.

Off the car I was not to sure about the wheel's ,but they look pretty cool mocked up...the sizing and stance is spot on. I love this body style as a drag car.

I just always liked the JukeBox, Soft Seal Chevy, and my favorite maybe of all time is the Christine pro mod. I built it with my dad as a kid and even though it's trashed I still have it to this day. Are you a Flyer??? as in Dayton Flyer's??? School is way important dude so you are certainly focused on the right stuff. Sound's like your going nut's on these carb's and I already thought they were looking rad. I do the same thing when I prep and paint, I get everything sanded, primed, taped ect and ready to go even if I can't paint it right away. Alclad is awesome stuff and some of the member's on here are amazing with the stuff. If you read the bottle you should be fine ,but I did learn a few trick's on here. You do not have to use black as a base coat....you can use dark blue, green even red for a different shine on the chrome, Gregg the site founder had a section in the magazine about it. Another member John Teresi said that he shoot's black, then clear and then the Alclad chrome which I tried and liked the result's. Have fun with it, when you do get time haha.

James you have everyone excited about the JukeBox..any updates? Mitch here is a little reference chart as to fitting and hose sizes...I am pretty certain I got this off this forum from this section ,but can not remember from who.
-
I would like to have that kit, Big Daddy is my favorite. Look's like your doing a fine job so far.
-
Looking good James, Pro-tech stuff is awesome to work with and look's so nice. I don't normally use acrylic's eithier ,but it seem's like you did a fine job with it. For a slighty sheen black I use model master Black Chrome Trim 2735....it is a enamel. It has just a little less shine than semi-gloss Krylon spray can for example. My camera get's stupid and flip's picture's sideway's also haha

Very nice, I want this kit. I think a different color back drop would really make this thing pop....I know photo stuff takes time and can be a pain ,but what a difference it can make. Another cool build Jonathan.

I love the idea of the center's being the classic Fuch's design yet modernized with low profile tire's and wider barell's...going to fit the look perfect. Should be pretty cool to see these two style's mixed and I think your going to do it justice. I never really thought about machining plastic pipe to the correct diameter for wheel's....not in a precise way such as a lathe or home made dremel drill lathe thing like I am going to try. Keep up the good work

NIce start, I like this kit. The extra detailing is already looking good and I really like the fitting's you made.

Boban this is a awesome kit and if I read correctly it really has held up nice over the years. I am working on the Ajinomoto Honda NSR 250 from 1990...I really love these are of racers. -
I like how there is not one speck of dust on the car. The glass is extremely clear and clean...did you polish them by any chance? I have also had issues with the Testors wet look from applying to heavy of a coat. In the automotive paint world it is called solvent pop and it can be caused by many different factor's including to heavy of application. Basically the solvent is not able to flash out and get's trapped causing a bubble. Like you said once you sanded down that far it was a lost cause. Just makes this glass smooth paint job that much better my friend. Great work

That does look like a nice kit to build, those brakes are awesome.
