  1. Remember the kids that absolutely had to use EVERY part on the old AMT and MPC 3-in-1 annual kits when they built them? I guess this is what happens when you don't outgrow that phase.....
  2. Brian Wilson would probably enjoy it! Mike Love, on the other hand, is probably holed up with his attorneys at this very moment trying to figure out exactly how to sue them for copyright infringements.......
  3. Jeff, that Elky looks SOOOOOO right!!! I simply cannot WAIT.....
  4. Also, if my memory serves me right the exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) valves in the LT1 motors were prone to sticking open after 50k miles, causing symptoms similar to a massive vacuum leak. Has this been replaced? I know of more than one GM B-body that was sent to a recycler due to this........
  5. I recently messaged Greg Wann about some resin parts that I believed that he had cast in the past. He quickly returned my message and informed me of pricing and availability of the items. I placed an order and in less than one week, the parts arrived perfectly cast in my mailbox. One cannot ask anything more from a resin caster - thank you, Greg!!
  6. PERFECT - One of my all-time favorites amongst your builds (the Cowboy Cadillac HAS to be my number one). A little fade on the red and some dirt here and there and it would look like it drove out of my childhood!!
  7. I am not 100% sure about those Cadillac campers, but I am willing to bet that they were crafted from retired "Professional Cars" (ambulances and hearses). I do know that a lot of them were converted back in the day due to their long wheelbases, heavy-duty frames, suspensions, brakes and driveline - and the fact that they could usually be bought for next to nothing at that time. If you wanted to go that route, I imagine you COULD use any of the "Ghost Busters" 1959 Cadillac Ecto 1 kits - it represents the real item's 1959 Miller-Meteor ambulance body fairly nicely and they are relatively easy to come by at this time.
  8. One of my favorite builds of yours, Scott! It reminds me of my sister's '68 coupe with a 200 and a 3 speed - a good little runner!! They ALL didn't come with 289s or 390s.....
  9. Nice, understated, "sleeper" shoebox, Scott!!!
  10. GREAT looking Vicky, Scott!!!
  11. Lovely replica, Ron!!
  12. Just wanted to share an experience that I had from an aftermarket supplier recently. On Friday I ordered several washes from "The Detailer" - I placed the order through their website and paid via PayPal. I received my products TODAY - even though I reside in the same state that they are located in(Florida) I still find this to be EXEMPLARY service. Kudos to them for a job well done and something you should consider if you ever consider purchasing from them. http://thedetailer.net/
  13. I received mine recently and I can say that the parts honestly appear to have been mastered by AMT or MPC during the "golden age" - they truly are that nice!! It was well worth the price - thank you Tom and Kevin for all your efforts!!!
  14. Gorgeous work, sir!!!
  15. And to top it all off, Florida plates....makes me sad to be a native.......
  16. I've dealt with them on numerous occasions - every transaction has been prompt, professional and friendly. Highly recommended in my experience!!!
  17. a cutting edge model - you've certainly raised the stakes...............
  18. Simply a glorious build - thank you for sharing it with us!!!
  19. Gee - guess that means that my misshapen, warped R&R Riviera abomination is now obsolete - I couldn't be happier, though!!!!
