  1. I will try to attend the contest. I have met some of the guys from the club and they are great! The cactus club had a table at the ipms modelzona show. They were very informative as I am only a two year builder. I was at the NNL west and some of the los angles guys are comming also. Sounds fun.
  2. TOO COOL!!!!!!! I like them all, but I love the limo.Did you Know James May is a model builder and has quite a collection. By the way ,where is the STIG?
  3. WOW!!!
  4. Great build!!!!!!! I saw this kit and the shape did not impress me. What you did to this kit, is make it look real, not a toy.I am very impressed with the build. I just sold my GT 350 just last year. Had the car since 1971. Wanted something different but cannot find anything that excites me yet. That car was just fun. I have drove the new GT 500 and it is alot faster but not as fun.The GT 350 just has alot of soul. As a former owner of a GT 350 your car has alot of soul!!!Did i mention this was a great build?
  5. Does anyone know where I can find 1:12 scale license plates and frames?
  6. WOW!!! Nice build, gotta love early stock cars!!!
  7. Super Model and pics to go with it. Great build!!!
  8. Casey and Ed, Thank you for the info on icon auto as Derek will be sending me some tires for the lola. They are goodyears,PERFECT!!!!
  9. Just build for the enjoyment, have fun and everything else will fall in place. The guys here are cool and will answer any question, but most important HAVE FUN!!!!!!
  10. Thank you airb, This helps alot.
  11. PLEASE LISTEN TO NOVADOSE71!!!!!!!!!! I have painted 1:1 cars and have used them all PLEASE LISTEN TO NOVADOSE71 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also have painted and still painting 1:1 cars and have used them all PPG,Sikkins,Sherman Williams,Standox and Spies just to name a few. Novadose is telling the truth, MASK UP!!! I do not care how small the amount ,it is dangerous. And just do not use any mask. You have to spend some money and protect your lungs.I have 2 friend that are dead because of not masking up. MASK UP PEOPLE !!!!Urethanes are the best. They do not shrink,go dull, easy to rub and dry fast. Sherman Williams has a urethane clear that dries to the touch in 5 minutes and you can rub the car out in 35 min at only seventy degrees. i love this stuff but it comes with a price.Very expensive. But if you want a shine ,look out! PLEASE BE SAFE GUYS and GALS
  12. airb what else do you know about the kit?All information is good, Thank you let us know please!!!

  14. Old Sprinter, I will try to post the build. Love to talk to race car fans and as for the wolf pack ,ROCK ON!!!!!!!
  15. Hey Keith how are you? Yea,Im trying to build the lola. The tires really bug me. They are nice but the wrong mfg. Cannot believe tamiya would make a mistake like that.I wish they would have left the lettering off so at least i could put firestone or goodyear on them.I have contacted iconauto but Derrick said he needed new molds for the goodyears. They looked really cool. Sooo I might build it as a recreation. lola is building a continuation car. Looks really cool. This way I do not have to be period correct on items like the tires. How are you comming on your build? I know it will be very cool. Have a super day and well talk to you soon. Your Bud Bruce
  16. Thank you Casey and Ed. Thank you very much.
