  1. I dig it! Looks like you had a lot of fun building this one and still having fun with it. You just can't beat the nostalgia of old AMT '32s. These are the type of cars I love to see at 1:1 car shows.
  2. Congrats on all your builds. My personal favorites the '32 Vicky and the '40 Coupe. I remember the truck and the Nova on here and love them both also.
  3. That's a tough kit to begin with and you did it justice. The two tone paint looks great and one thing often over looked are the shiny strips on the front fenders and doors on Bel Air models, they get painted over. Nice job with the foil. I like the chassis and really like the exhaust cut-outs.
  4. Very nice job on the finish Randy. I built one up a couple of years ago just like your's, I think you got it right! I recently found a '57 Cameo to build which is slightly different. I love pickups especially the early ones.
  5. Nice Ride, I love it!
  6. Nice job, congrats, I love it!
  7. It turned out great! I would have guessed it was a resin body, which would have been a lot easier. I love the theme. It looks like you are prepared for anything. Congrats.
  8. Wow! That is really coming along! Nice work!
  9. Haven't posted in a while. Here's the way I left it last night at midnight.
  10. By tapeing two exacto blades together I was able to cut my pinstripes from orange decal paper useing part of the graffic. I then applied them to the Phaeton. I also wired for sparkplugs and made a butterfly for the carb. I love the steering on my Roadster so included a pic.
  11. Great story, enjoyed the video, it's a homerun!!! Two thumbs up!!
  12. More pictures of today's progress.
  13. Thanks, now I'm thinking maybe some orange pinstripes or scallops.
  14. A little progress, layed some paint down on the Phaeton. Tried mixing cheap lacquer with Testors enamel for the first time, man I have been living under a rock for a long time now! This is fantastic! Nice gloss and Quick drying along with easy cleanup. I love it! The Testors cream is a little boreing but, maybe with the orange accents...I don't know yet. Tell me what you think.
  15. Unique design, I love the imagination, Nice work Jim! I guess you can take a peek at the engine without opening the big heavy hood every time. I love the interior design and the seats.
  16. Now I see it and everyone was right!
  17. Getting a model in MCM for the first time and winning my first contest with it earlier in the year. ( Pink Hudson in Nov. 2012 issue, many thanks to Harry).
  18. Thanks Tom
  19. I thought it was just me! It mostly happens right after I try to post pictures. Thanks for posting this message everybody.
  20. Love the weathering, great job!
  21. I'm starting to really like this one. I've never built the Phaeton before.
  22. Same here, mine is the pink one. Your's is beautiful! I consider it a higher honor then any trophy to be published this way and the first time for me also. Nice story by Harry, and to be in a story with a Pro like Chuck Most is awesome too. Now where do you get extra coppies?
  23. How ugly is it?
  24. Thanks, Bill.
