  1. My favourite parts are the fenderwell headers and the velocity stacks! You gave this one a lot of love. This kit is just not on my fav. list at all. I think you are ready to step it up to one of the newer versions. I do love '55 Chevys!
  2. You picked the right truck to start with. Nice job so far!
  3. Nice job! I love those duels, I can almost hear it going down the street. The details look mighty fine!
  4. Thanks for giving us some more eye candy. Nice job on the engine and chassis. I love the little jack stand.
  5. Nice! Is that Testors Hugger Orange? I bought a can of it and have plans to do pretty much what you did with my COPO. I hope it comes out near as nice as yours.
  6. I will also say good choice, two of my all time favs. So many directions you can go on this. I'll be watching. Believe it or not I have been working on two of these today, original bodys from the '60s.
  7. Nice job! One thing though, how about some more pictures?
  8. Nicely done!
  9. Thanks Dave, I wasn't aware the Golf had been around that long. I bought a new Super Beetle in '74 and something didn't line up for me. My bad. Nice model none the less, didn't mean to take from that.
  10. Did you mean to say 1984? I love it, just don't remember a VW Golf in '74. We had a new Rabbit in '81, the US version.
  11. Sorry, images were erased from photobucket, so here they are again.
  12. I think the whitewalls should be white skulls all the way around.
  13. Thanks Roger. My Daughter found a new '41 kit at a garage sale for $1, bless her heart! Here is a couple of pictures for comparison.
  14. Thanks Jeff, I keep saying green is the new red for hot rods, but I guess it has been around for years. I can't wait to see your Phaeton.
  15. That looks like a good one to me Jeff and one I haven't seen in years. Welcome aboard!
  16. Nice model! Nice job on the doors and other details. I like your engine bay.
  17. I love the direction it is going! Those are the kind of Cragers I like, not the deep dish. Love the windows. What is the Grump Hump? To be period correct for me, this would be 1966-'67. I love it!!!!
  18. It looks good and the color looks spot on!
  19. The AMT '32 roadster dates back to the early '60s but, has been reissued several times. Mine is a 1998 version of the kit. Here are two versions on my shelf.
  20. Thanks Bill, I got the idea for the frame after cutting off the front fenders. These old AMT kits leave a lot to be desired but, still an awful lot of fun and remain on my favorite list. The ingraving is really heavy in places and the body appears to be already sectioned. I wish it had a dropped axel also. The revell kits are seriously more realistic.
  21. I forgot to mention this one. I had four of them and this is the only survivor so far. I don't know if it will ever make it to the bench.
  22. You asked for it! And I would add to that the first kit I ever built a '60 Edsel which I no longer have. These are the survivors.
  23. I only see one Ford which is my fav. Nice job on all the rest also. The little man adds to the presentation, I love it! It's hard to believe how small these models are at first glance.
  24. You have more paint then my LHS! I also like the spoon collection. Nothing like a well equipped shop!
