    Besides, Round2 already had the van trailer molds ready to go. Same as AMT has done in the past: same kit different decals. Hard pass on this one.

    I also doubt that 1/35 will make a big showing in the automotive circles, but you never know. I don't really see Roden making a 1/24 version of this bus even if the 1/35 bus sells well. There just really isn't that big of a bus modeling community, but the modeling community in general is full of surprises. Meng also released 1/35 & 1/24 versions of their Ford F350. It would be interesting to see which version of the kit actually sold better.

    Not really being up on the engineering side of NASCAR, how similar underneath the body are the Chevrolet, Ford, & Toyota cars? Could one make a NASCAR Ford Mustang (that is what Ford is racing, isn't it?) with this Chevrolet Camaro with a body & engine swap?

    Peter, I agree with you that automotive models are 1/24 or 1/25 for the most part, but let's face it, it seems that the "money" in the modeling industry is in 1/35 armor. Even though the aftermarket for 1/24 & 1/25 automotive is quite extensive, it really can't hold a candle to the 1/35 armor world.

    Because it seems to me that to most model companies, the only scale for land vehicles is 1/35. Got to follow the money, I guess.

    I generally don't worry about it as I don't enter my cars into competitions, and I don't look at the underside of my models in the case anyway.
