  1. That really looks great. Nice story to go along with the model, too.
  2. Coming along nicely, Tom. You're going to need to build a dirt bike stand now! ?
  3. Great details. Your chassis & engine plumbing are top notch.
  4. Thanks! I thought so, too.
  5. Thanks, Jeff.
  6. Thanks, Christopher.
  7. Thanks, Larry.
  8. Great looking GTO. Weathering is spot on. Very well done.
  9. Nice looking interior & engine.
  10. I don't know about anyone else, but I could use the "GENERAL" logo with the stars for one of my future builds. I won't be using the kit stripes from my issue; I have a different plan.

    67 GTX

Very nice looking GTX. I have one of these in the stash that I'd like to build eventually. Don't think it'll be as nice as yours, though. Very well done.
  12. Matt, that's a nice looking wrecker. Should be an interesting build when you get to it. As for the General in Coke livery, I'm not sure if Coca-Cola would have sprung for the 116" BBC hood with the 8V92N & a sleeper. My personal opinion is that they probably would have gone "fleet cheap" and gone with the standard 108" BBC hood (available from Gary Wallace) and the standard 6V92T engine; but that's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions.
  13. Thanks, David. That's the steering wheel that came with the kit. The only thing that isn't from the kit are the California license plates.
  14. Thanks, guys. I appreciate it. Gene, that's a nice looking GTO as well. I like the Wide Ovals & the different wheels. Gives it a completely different look. I'd build this kit again if I had the chance.

    BMW

    Nice looking BMW.
  16. Thanks, Tom.?
  17. Great references for the General. I just hope I remember this is here when I start to build mine. I hear that during one of the rebuilds she was converted to run on oil instead of wood.
  18. Very nice looking TIE fighter. I like your base, too.
  19. Thanks, guys. John, that's a nice looking GTO. I see you did the hardtop version. Well done.
  20. Thanks, guys. Bruce, the nose was a separate piece, so it made it easier to paint correctly.
  21. Looking really nice, Tom. You'll be done in no time.
  22. Thanks, Peter. It was a pleasurable build as the kit went together quite nicely. It isn't perfect, but I like it.
  23. Oh, I almost forgot. Here is a photo of the interior prior to me buttoning it up.
  24. I picked this kit up from a fellow modeler back at the IMPS Syracuse Show in October 2019, and I started it in November. My inspiration for this build was Little GTO by Ronny and the Daytonas, and since I've been on a Muscle Car kick, why not build the muscle car that started it all. The build is essentially "box stock", with the California license plates coming from the Revell 1941 Chevrolet Pickup kit (they actually say 1965, so close enough). Thank you to Tbill for providing the blue paint for the engine. Exterior color is Rustolium Colonial Red over Flat Black.
