  1. Isn't that similar to the sleeper on Snowman's GMC General in Smokey & the Bandit II:
  2. Nice looking dragger. Well done.

    Yenko Nova

    Great looking Nova. Well done.
  4. That's one big Mack. Nice job.
  5. I saw an article last week about the Army accepting the Mack Granite as the new M917A3 HDT. Here's an article from June 11, 2019: https://armyupdate.com/index.php/2019/06/11/army-mack-heavy-dump-trucks/
  6. Nice looking LN8000. Hey, Robbie had to get around some how, right?
  7. Nicely done, Mike. My WIP K100 had a run in with a cat & a mole. Cats: 2; Trucks: 0.
  8. Nice looking Bel Air.
  9. Pierre, that's one of the reasons why people say it's a pain to build, the other is the typical AMT fit quality from that era. Here are some articles on correcting the AMT T600: https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm17_jan_1993_updat/ https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm18_mar_1993_updat/ https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm19_may_1993_updat/ https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm20_july_1993_upda/ https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm21_sept_1993_conv/ https://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm23_jan_1994_updat/ I have yet to try these as it's a daunting project, and I can barely build box-stock. So you know, Gary Wallace from GW Trucks offers the correct T600 front suspension, and a variety of engines that are appropriate for the T600 (Detroit Diesel Series60, Cummins N14, and a yellow engine).
  10. You are correct, most of the US truck kits are from the 1970s & 1980s. The AMT Kenworth T600 is a 1990s body on a 1970s frame & engine. I don't know about the Revell (or was it Italeri) Kenworth T600.
  11. Thanks, Carl.
  12. That's really nice. Very well done.
  13. That looks pretty cool. Didn't know AMT did a modified Mustang.
  14. Couldn't agree more!
  15. Thanks, Bob.
  16. Nice looking Charger.
  17. Thanks, David.
  18. Very nice!
  19. Thanks, Lee.
  20. Thanks, Michael. The paint is Testors Spray Enamel Gloss Competition Orange (P/N 1628). The engine is Testors Model Master Lacquer System Hemi Orange (P/N 28107).
  21. So one of my favorite shows growing up was The Dukes of Hazzard, and I knew that I eventually wanted to build a replica of the "General Lee". I originally purchased the MPC The Dukes of Hazzard "General Lee" Dodge Charger kit, but it lacked detail, and I eventually converted the Revell 1969 Dodge Charger RT into the "General Lee". It's not perfect, but since they used about 300 cars during the production of the show, I figure it must be close to one of them! The engine, frame, suspension, & interior come from the Revell 1969 Charger RT kit; the body is from the Revell 1968 Charger RT kit; the decals, wheels, and push bar are from the MPC "General Lee" kit; B/F Goodrich tires are from a fellow modeler; CB radio from the parts box; CB antenna was scratch built; and the Hazzard County plates are from the Internet.
  22. Ok, I guess we do this the long way.
