  1. That looks awesome, KJ. Very well done.
  2. Thanks for the info, Charlie. That's a great build. There is nothing like that molded onto the AC frame, and this truck surely doesn't have airbrakes.
  3. Currently the only tractor that I have from a European manufacturer that is not in the box is a Revell of Germany Kenworth W900. I did put some of the AMT trailers behind it just for fun (didn't take any photos), and the only one I remember having an issue with was the Wilson Livestock Trailer because of the belly on the trailer & the long rear frame on the tractor. The fifth wheel carrier is molded onto the fifth wheel slide plate so you cannot change the location. I would think that is the landing gear is far enough back, then you shouldn't have a problem with the dry or refer vans, or the flatbed; but the livestock & lowboy trailers could present an issue. Since the car hauler & the Western Star 4964 are both Revell of Germany kits you shouldn't have an issue. Maybe.
  4. Make it a mixer, then he'll have a conniption.
  5. That's purdy! Looks like you got eh hood to sit better than on the gold one.
  6. Should be a nice build, Jeff. Did your kit come with the square tanks or just the round ones?
  7. Nice yellow! I like it with the black stripes.
  8. Thanks for the idea, Charlie. I might just give that a try. Do you know what they used to grease these chains? Was it something like chainsaw bar oil, or was it actually grease? Here is what she looks like now with everything just sort of placed on the frame. The cab, hood, & fenders are assembled & ready for paint. The body is in the assemble process now. I'm finding the green plastic not nearly as bas to paint as the red or blue plastic.
  9. I like it. The logo looks cool.
  10. Thanks. Want to get some more assembly done on the box in the next few days.
  11. Managed to get some work dome on the Mack AC over the last few days. The frame is essentially complete, so the next step is the cab & dump box. Fingers crossed the decals done disintegrate once they hit the water!
  12. That sure is bright yellow. Looks nice.
  13. That's a nice looking fire service truck there, Casey. I'm going to guess that "Apache" is Chevrolet's 4x4 designation?
  14. Great looking Mack, Tom. I like the detail you're putting into this one. Oh, nice bike in your avatar. Is that a CB750?
  15. Nice looking wheels. I like the sticker on your paint booth.
  16. This should be nice. For some reason I've always preferred the Montone dump body on the Autocar to the Heil dump body on the Paystar. Doesn't the DM600 kit have the long frame on the box, too?
  17. Doing a fire rig will be great. I really like the LACoFD Transtar II. What department is the S-Series from?
  18. Excellent build, Sergey. Very well done. You probably don't see trucks like that driving around in Russia too often.
  19. Thanks. Yes, that thread is really taking on a life of it's own.
  20. Sounds like some experimentation is in order. Thanks for the info on the AC backdate materials.
  21. That's really nice. I like it. Just picked this kit up yesterday, and I have no idea what I'm going to do with it.
  22. Thanks, Steve. I'll Dave to see what he has.
  23. An air scoop? Wonder what that's for. Like this:
