  1. Got the cab & fenders glued on, and the dash gauges (all 2 of them) painted.
  2. Should be an interesting project. What's your plan for the long hood?
  3. Thanks. Actually, although I like the color, I was hoping that it would have been a little darker, and more like the box art.
  4. Thanks. We're getting closer. Everything is just sort of placed on the frame for the photo. Lots of fiddly stuff to do yet, but I'm liking how this is turning out.
  5. Yeah, you're right. I'd better slow down.
  6. Tried a technique that I read about using craft paint to do a woodgrain effect on the cab floor & windshield frame. Didn't come out too bad for a first attempt at something like this. Maybe a tad too dark. All in all, I'm please with the results.
  7. What's a Fargo? Is that what this truck was called in Canada?
  8. Phil, will you & Chris be offering your KW dashes to the general public? I have (2) of the AMT KW AeroDyne kits. One I am planning on doing as a 1976 Bicentennial K100.
  9. I'm not sure about the Union Jack, but the US Flag does not need to be displayed "in reverse" on the right side of vehicles or uniforms, according to the US Flag Code. It generally is in US Army Uniforms and USAF & other aircraft to give the impression of the flag streaming backwards was the vehicle moves forward; however, it is not displayed this way on the Boy Scout uniforms or the uniform of the Madison County (NY) Sheriffs Department. Now, that being said, I do agree with you that the reverse flag on the right side of a vehicle does look better; and I would prefer that model companies provided it on their decal sheets if the flag is provided.
  10. Fantastic work, Jeff.
  11. You got that right. Hoping to get some paint on this sometime this week. Trying to finish up the cab first.
  12. There's more than one way to deal with those pesky ejector pin marks! The interior walls of the bed were loaded with them, but I guess I really can't complain too much as these were the only ejector pin marks I had to deal with on the entire model.
  13. So the release scheduled for April will not have the instrument cluster decals?
  14. Kind of surprised they're not Coca-Cola-ing the Autocar.
  15. Very well done. The details are great. I'm guessing that those were originally made for S-gauge railroads.
  16. You & me both! Actually, it has been a rather enjoyable build.
  17. That looks really nice. I like your layout, too.
  18. Thanks, Jim. It's going together quite well, and the only issue has been the plethora of deep ejector pin marks on the inside of the dump bed; but I have a solution! I just need time to implement it.
  19. Thanks. It's getting there.
  20. Those are some nice cases, Sam.
  21. Thanks. Going to add the raised bumper as well. Figure that would be on a construction type vehicle.
