  1. Interesting. Get rid of some of those out of scale, toy looking parts & you might have a decent starting point for a Western Star model.
  2. Great job on Engine 51. They make a great pair. Wipers? Who needs wipers in Los Angeles?
  3. What would be really nice is if someone (Model Car Garage, maybe?) would offer a P/E set for the American-LaFrance logos for the 900 & 1000 series cabs. This would be useful on all of the AMT American-LaFrance kits.
  4. Nice looking K100. Well done. The standard wheelbase on the K100 Aerodyne was 180", while the Papa truck's is 226". That being said, Kenworth would make trucks with whatever wheelbase the customer wanted.
  5. The defiantly are not ABS modules as the AMT Fruehauf flatbed trailer is 1970s vintage. They are air relay valves.
  6. About rare as hen's teeth! I've heard that the Bighorns were more popular in Canada than the US. Don't know if that's true, but that's what I've heard. Wonder if the Big Al powered Bighorn was a Canadian or US truck.
  7. This might help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_X-4_Bantam
  8. Nicely done. When did the USAF change the designation from P80 to F80?
  9. Interesting project. Definitely a daycab. While we're on the subject, since I have no talent for scratchbuilding (I can barely get the kits together, some times), has anyone ever cast the Big Al?
  10. Thanks. Just finishing up the cockpit, so I should have some more photos soon.
  11. What did you use for your photo base? It's looks really nice.
  12. I'm pretty sure the AMT KW W925 kits always came with the Cummins NTC350.
  13. There's just something about the F-104. It looks like a missile with wings.
  14. I have all of these ships except the NX-01 (wasn't offered at the time), and of the ships I've built I can say that the fit is pretty bad. Once you do glue them together & fill the gaping seams, they do look really nice. Time will tell if this release is any better than the "Cadet Series" version of the kits that I purchased. And The Cadet Series boxes didn't come with stands, so I had to get them from The Delta Quadrant before he went out of business.
  15. Interesting. I thought they all looked familiar. You know: same attitude, same display base. Nice rework.
  16. Cool little fighter. Hard to believe that it actually flew.
