  1. Received an email from Jack at Model Roundup today (like I'm sure many of you all did). Apparently Round2 is issuing a Parts Pack with two 1970s era dirt bikes in 1/25. Says that it will be available in June. http://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/amt-r2-pp-014.htm
  2. Great looking P-51D. Very well done on your marathon build session.
  3. Found this in YouTube abut the FT-17 from The Bovington Tank Museum:
  4. Harry, that's not frustrating, that's heart breaking!
  5. Don't really know. I just touched the IVECO, and the dash came apart. On the Kenworth that has the water spots, I picked it up to inspect the damage, and the fuel tanks came off. Then the airtank came off! But you know, if I wanted to remove a part from a model, I'd have to basically destroy it to get it off.
  6. That's exactly what I did. Probably be put away for another six months, then it will fall apart again.
  7. I admit that I have been away from the bench for a very long time. But still, it is very frustrating to go back to a model to pick up where you left off only to have it fall apart in your hands! Or to find out that one of your best paint jobs (all be it outsourced) has been destroyed by water, and I'm not sure if I can clean it without destroying it (see first part of rant). Makes me want to just chuck what I've done and start again fresh. It's almost like they're rebuilds. So frustrating!
  8. Very well done. The Ford & the Autocar are just great. I really like that trailer. I seem to remember it from another thread.
  9. That's a really cool looking Euro combination. Well done.
  10. It's very possible. The NHC-250 is used in the M-923 series trucks.
  11. Pretty cool diorama. I like the Minion!
  12. Can't say as I've ever seen a chrome P-61. It's probably not very good for sneaking up on people at night, but it sure is interesting.
  13. Definitely has the 70's look to it. Well done.
  14. I've also found that Tamiya X12 Gold Leaf is a good match for the gold used be Mack, Tamiya X13 Metallic Blue is a good match for the blue that International used on their MaxxForce engines, Tamiya XF18 Medium Blue is a good match for the Detriot Diesel Series60 Blue (I have also heard that Humbrol #87 Matt Steel Gray is close), and Testors Model Masters Grun RLM 62 is a good match for the early Detroit Diesel Alpine Green. I have heard, but cannot confirm, that Testors Red 1203 is a dead-on match for the International Red, while Testors Model Master Auto Lacquer 1969 Ford Metallic Acapulco Blue can be used for the International V800.
  15. It's so little! Probably a close match for the Type 95 Chi Ha, though. I don't think the M1 or M60 would bother with the main gun against the FT17/M1917. I think they'd use the 50cal, or just push it out of the way.
  16. It would be interesting to see this parked next to a M-1 or M-60 & some figures for a size comparison.
